My health has always been good.
Then after the smart meters were installed on the side of my house (on the wall of my bedroom) I started having health issue.
Aching ribs, dry mouth, headaches and sometimes vertigo.
I had to stop sleeping in my bedroom.
I could not "opt out" of the meters because I live in a duplex and the other tenant didn't want to do that.
consequently I am sleeping in my living room. If I try to sleep in my bedroom, I get a headache and dizziness.
I would like to move to another apartment, but there are smart meters in all the apartments in Austin.
I pay alot of rent and do not appreciate NOT being able to use my bedroom.
We moved into our home in Sandy Springs GA in July 2017. The home was already equipped with a Georgia Power smart meter. Our then-ten-year-old son, who began sleeping in a top bunk in the basement bedroom with his head adjacent the outside wall of the home and approximately 4 feet from the smart meter, immediately began suffering daily headaches. He had no history of headaches up to that point. About once a month after we moved in, they were so severe with accompanying nausea that he would spend the day on the bathroom floor near the toilet in pain- unable to keep pain medicine in his stomach without vomiting. After 2.5 years of this, we received a tip from a friend out of state who had had a similar experience, and we immediately requested Georgia Power restore our "dumb" power meter. We agreed to pay the added monthly fee for manual meter reading. Our son's headaches immediately stopped with no apparent long-term effects although we have never had him scanned or examined to identify any damage or signs of abnormality.

In the past around 8 - 9 years I have not been able to sleep well. The lack of sleep made me very tired during day time. Over the years I tried herb teas, various supplements, they did not make any difference. A few months ago, I decided to turn off wifi in the house. Surprisingly I started to sleep well. At first I thought it was coincidence but it has been a few months now and I continue to sleep well. I feel so much better and more energy during the days.
I am so happy that HHS is taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.
Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard and please continue to do that.

I am responding from the perspective of a family that the physical and emotional health and financial security has been greatly dismantled by the damages of sleeping directly inside unknowingly to 7 smart meters. Coupled with an unsealed concrete floor with a water table underneath so the bedroom was perpetually damp and mold in the wall of the kitchen. My son and I had a huge range of healrh problems during the time living there.

I am responding from the perspective of a very concerned member of the public.
I have concerns about wireless radiation for our home and our extended family. I have been on a detox journey of health for 9 years, having experienced cancer personally and being a caregiver for parents as well. Wireless radiation does impact our health and we know so little about the long term impact. Our current physical world and food and environment have all become toxic so that we generally accept disease as "normal" - but it doesn't have to be this way.
As we have worked at detoxing our bodies, we limit the time on our phones, store them in another room so that we can have deeper sleep. It is noticeable when we don't - brain fog, for one.
I believe this topic of wireless radiation needs to be independently assessed with the perspective of maximizing the health of our population, not to harm. If the agenda is anything else, we will be treated as consumers of whatever products that are designed to manage our symptoms, instead of end them.
I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.
I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.

As a mother and grandmother I am highly concerned about radiation's exposure. I have been harassed but two utility company’s trying to put smart meters on my house. I was over charged by them and more. We have to pay extra fees. I saw a burned down house in KY that two people died and looked like started by a smart meter. 5G towers are everywhere and close to schools and homes. I know people harmed by them. Most parents have Apple Watches on next to baby’s heads. I am around children and I can tell you they don’t sleep as well and likely sicker. It has to stop. All the smart technology is bad for us. We have to pay for things that might protect us. It’s a scam and harming us! Sitting around a fire pit is very healing, you can cook on it and it keeps you warm. The WiFi radiation is causing mold issues and killing the trees and plants.
After selling my home a few years ago, I began looking for a rental. Because I had read about the impact of electromagnetic fields, I purchased an EMF unit to test the living spaces. So many had issues. One particular complex I really liked. The leasing rep told me an apartment would soon become available but I couldn’t see it at that time. As I noticed people moving in and out of the unit, I asked if I could take a peek inside. The EMF detector showed extremely high levels. I asked why they were moving. A lady told me her mother had died of cancer after living there a few years. I’m not suggesting that caused her cancer 100%, but it is, of course, possible. I eventually moved into a lovely complex. The EMF readings in my unit are 0%.

My family is very sensitive to EMFs to the point that we had to pick our home based on proximity to cell towers. Please don’t let 5g into neighborhoods.
I have been coping with the effects of wireless radiation for over a decade now. At first I was getting extreme migraine and no doctor could find the reason. Then someone suggested I turn off my wifi and that made all the difference! I had to move because they were planning on putting a 5G tower near my home. I did much local advocacy at the city and county levels but to no avail. I cannot work in my prior place of employment and cannot stay in hotels. All due to EMFs from wireless radiation and the extreme migraines it gives me. Our bodies were not designed to endurw this and my body is evidence.
