Hello, Thank you for this opportunity to express my EMF health symptoms and concerns. I am EMF sensitive, it has become difficult to go into stores because there is so much elecrtomagnetic wave energy. The EMF makes me very tired, light headed and unballenced. If I go into a big box store I experiience brain fog and forgetfulness. It didn't used to effect me but I believe it has gotten so much worse in the last few years. It makes my skin itch and makes me tired however I don't sleep well. I would like to replace my household smart meter for an analog meter. I did not have all these issues when at least my house had the analog electric meter. When I go out my cell phone is put on airplane mode or turned off. I turn off the router and WIFI at night, these steps help a little. But the world is now toxic with all the cell towers and transmissions. Please update the studies and laws for EMFs, RF Radiation and Wireless Radiation.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding as a concerned member of the public with a a number of health issues. I honestly have no idea what part EMFs, RF, or wireless radiation plays, but it plays some part based on all the research I've read and talks and podcasts I've heard. I strongly encourage HHS to take an active and SCIENTIFICALLY GOLDEN role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. There are now countless towers in my area! In one local canyon in our mountains that's about 15 miles long, I counted at least 9! That's nearly one per mile. It's a recreation canyon with very little residential population. So what's the point of all those towers? At a minimum, they're super ugly. But then all that radiation in what is mostly wildlife habitat? If radiation affects humans, it affects wildlife. The key words in my comment are: please conduct the research and make sure it is SCIENTIFICALLY GOLDEN! Please use Real Experts with NO conflicts of interest. And experts in all kinds of different fields. I repeat. Real experts with NO conflicts of interest and all relevant fields. Thanks so much for doing the RIGHT thing for Americans (and the rest of the world).

Wireless radiation in my house was causing sleeplessness, so I had my power company (PG&E) take away the smart meter and now they send a human being to read the analog meter every month. Yes, they charge a small monthly fee to read the meter manually, but it is worth it to us because our health is improved. We are concerned that the new G5 may start causing issues, but we haven't had any bad experiences as of this moment. We have spent lots of money to minimize the ill effects of EMF/eSmog in our house, computer monitors and cell phones. These devices all have stickers meant to minimize the exposure to the bad radiation. In depth studies should be executed to determine what ill effects are actually caused by all the radiation we are exposed to in our daily lives. We know we can't trust the cell phone or internet service providers to study that in an impartial way, so it is up to the government to do the job. Thank you for looking into this and we look forward to hearing the results.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a health care provider and an ally of electromagnetically sensitive people. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. We do not yet know the long-term consequences of constant EMF expsoure, and there are many well-designed, alarming peer-reviewed studies detailing real harm to human health. Please move to protect the health of our children, as well as electromagnetically sensitive people. Thank you for being receptive to this input. Sincerely, Rebecca Oshiro

There are hundreds of EMF studies referenced in Dr. Mercola's book "EMF*D." The last 20% of the book is the bibliography with approximately 1,000 academic references. Also, you're heroes for doing this work, thank you. https://www.amazon.com/EMF-Phones-Hidden-Protect-Yourself/dp/1401962246?_encoding=UTF8&dib_tag=se&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.7iAucyEQhEVgXegBxxVakr1ZcGJOkhiKEBKYFzdBqbM.iKwa_9V3h6SXYYH_6TotBcMQG7wGJSs8_4JG-5FLvXc&qid=1790025341&sr=1-1

I think it is insane to erect cell towers near peoples homes and schools because people have been getting sick. This must stop until the electro magnetic radiation has been scientifically tested to see the affect it has on humans animals and the environment!

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a patient. I have been trying to recover from toxic mold exposure and have ME/CFS so I am very sick and unable to work. I have noticed whenever I am near my phone or using my cell phone, I start to feel very ill after about an hour. I get extremely tired with dizziness and brain fog. I also can get headaches and neurological issues, such as difficulty walking. I have a feeling the EMF from the phone is making my brain even more inflamed than it already is from the mold mycotoxins and ME/CFS condition. I would really appreciate it if the HHS could figure out exactly why I feel so awful after using my phone. I am trying to heal from my conditions and want to better understand what factors impede the healing process and why. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a concerned American citizen. Wireless radiation has affected you personally as I have a brain condition (congenital) and I have a VP shunt implanted in my brain. Living with a shunt for 52 years has not been fun but since we were forced to put smart meters in our homes, I suffer from debilitating headaches, poor sleep and general malaise. Additionally, within six months of my home being forced to be fitted with a smart meter, I was in the hospital having a new shunt implanted (my previous shunt was with me for 34 years!) I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to comment.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am hoping that by submitting this comment I can encourage scientific investigation of wireless radiation. In November, 2001 I had a thin 4 inch wide tumor removed from just under my skull where my cell phone antenna had the closest contact to my head. It was removed by Dr. Snyder at Torrance Memorial Hospital. Thankfully it was benign but its presence caused me to have strange displays of light in my peripheral vision. I forget the name of the doctor who read the lab reports; but I was able to ask him if he used a cell phone, and he said, "No".
