I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am someone who is personally negatively affected by wireless radiation. When they built a cell tower too close to my home, we had to spent a great deal of money to hire people to evaluate how we could protect ourselves from it. Special paints. Special curtains. We are hard-wired to the internet. We do have a wifi router we can use but we cover it with special radiation reducing materials and we limit the times we use it. This personal. And many more suffer a lot more than me from it's effects. 5G is even worse. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

Hello: I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I submit this for myself, my children, my community, the environment, and the world. In approximately 2009/2010 I became sensitive to wireless radiation and thought at one point that I would become one of the people on the street living in my car to get away from it. I have watched my mother, my children, and many others react to this radiation. It is so difficult now to get away from it, there are few places left that are not contaminated with this radiation. For myself, my symptoms around the radiation are that I get red in the face, eye pain, dry eyes, prickly feelings on the top of my head, body aches and pains, then trouble breathing, feelings of panic, then short term memory loss, and at my worst, I began blacking out. I have used shielding paints, put metal sides on my home, hard wired computers, stayed away from coffee shops, and even moved to the country to get away from this radiation. When I live in it, I cannot sleep, cannot get comfortable, am irritable and sick. When I am shielded from it or have little of it, I am never ill. Since it is clear that this radiation is dangerous and makes people ill, it should be regulated. I have read scientific studies in the Bioinitiative Report. Also those on the website for the Environmental Health Trust. I have read the studies on the website powerwatch.org.uk as well as many other sites. I have had to hire Building Biologists to help me shield myself in my home. I have seen how this radiation affects the health and the emotional state of our children. Secretary Kennedy and HHS, please take an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. The Agencies like HHS should be looking at actual science including most importantly independent scientists. An Agency should use the precautionary principle in assessing harm to human health. It should be skeptical of what industry says, and what industry funds. Please use what I and others report in terms of health effects, as people across the world report the same or similar health effects from this radiation. It is time that the health effects to people and the environment are looked at front and center and not swept under the rug. The birds, bees, bats, people, pets, insects, and all life, is suffering from this radiation in our environment 24/7. There is more than enough evidence right now of the health effects and effects on wildlife and our pets to take action now. What are we waiting for? Anything that can be hardwired should be hardwired. Any wireless should be a last resort.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a parent, advocate, and concerned member of the public. It is extremely concerning and a very serious issue for everyone, especially our children who are still developing physically, mentally, and emotionally. It should be a top priority since our children are being exposed everyday and I'm afraid that they will have cancer, brain tumors, memory loss, vision loss, radiation, and a host of other diseases if we don't take a stand and stop this. Children and parents aren't aware of the dangers that technology has on our bodies and minds. I have a child who isn't educated on these issues since she doesn't know the peer medical reviews or doctors who know the causes of these dangerous devices. I would like you to inform the humanity before it is too late.

This is an addition to my previous report (pasted below as well) Copy of previous report below ID: HHS-OASH-2026-0397-0001 I am 100% certain, I could pass a double-blind experiment. If I hold an Apple phone for 5 minutes I start feeling sick. So, for the study, an Apple phone that is on could be rotated with one that is completely turned off. I'm certain about few things in life, but am certain here, that I would be 100% accurate in indicating which phone is on. I was an office administrator, sat next to servers and routers for years. I noticed if I spent the whole weekend in my bedroom (shared rental) I'd feel unwell. I retired in 2020 and got really sick like I was being poisoned. Doctors couldn't figure it out and I was having thoughts that I'd have to leave this world if it continued. An EMF expert came to my home and said my 2 cordless phones were putting out 60,000mw of RF each. I start feeling sick at 60mw. At night, the house router was on the other side of the wall, a few feet from my head and he said with the smart TV at my feet, it was like baking in a microwave oven. I got rid of cordless phones, hard-wired my devices and changed to ethernet and felt a lot better. However, I can't go to libraries, concerts, church, some restaurants and coffee shops with lots of RF or strong routers. I get dizzy, my energy goes down, then I feel nausea and like my whole body is being poisoned. I visited a friend in the hospital and was sick within 15 minutes and had to leave after 20 mins and I was weaving as I walked out, I was so sick. I went to a talk in a library and started feeling sick. Another woman told me she was feeling sick too. I looked up and saw there was a huge wi-fi router above our heads. After about 10 mins after we moved away, we started feeling better. There was a coffee shop about 20 of us met at, and 5 of us would get sick because the router was running such high wi-fi frequency. It's very sad and depressing for me to not be able to go to the senior center to play cards or hear talks and I often can't go to card games. I can't take a bus, train or airplane trip with everyone's cell phones and the RF on the vehicles. Can’t ride in friend’s EV cars and so I haven’t been able to take a trip for 15 years. My life is very limited now. I can no longer work in offices and am in financial hardship because there are few places I can work because most require being near wi-fi equipment. I do some caregiving, but I often feel sick if I have to work close to a router and their phones and computers. It's taken a toll on my finances and physical and emotional well-being.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a patient. I currently have chosen to remove the Smart Meter from my home. I do not use a wireless router. My home is pretty much wifi free. I sleep under an EMF tent/canopy. I do not use a microwave oven. I do not believe that wireless is good for my health. I do not have any specifics to report, but I have made these choices based on my research and to try to preserve my health. A former healthcare professional attributes symptoms and temporary displacement to a wireless water meter…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am reaching out to HHS as an individual whose health was adversely affected following a smart meter activation to the water line in my home in January 2025. I had practiced as a professional in the health care field for 40yrs prior to leaving the profession. In January 2025, there was a notice on my house door that a smart meter was going to be activated to my city water line; I promptly phoned the city the next day and asked to sign a waiver to 'opt out'. My request was declined by two city affiliates with 'everyone is getting them' {previously, I had always had an option to 'opt out' of smart meters for water & electric}. Two days later, after I had made calls to 'opt out'. I experienced a spontaneous nose bleed (the first in my life of 69 yrs with no other contributing causes). I went on to experience a total of 3 spontaneous nose bleeds within 11 days; in the meantime, my health began to decline. I experienced brain 'fog', loss of hair, cough, shortness of breath (symptoms similar to pulmonary edema) I ordered a home nebulizer that I had used for my symptoms). I also noted that many of my symptoms were that of 'long' COVID - loss of smell/ taste, long lasting cough, sleep disorder, muscle weakness {I had never taken the COVID vaccine, nor had the COVID illness prior to the symptoms following the smart meter activation to my home}. As my symptoms progressed; I eventually left my home, after 6 weeks, in efforts to recover; as I continued to work with the city manager to have the smart meter removed from my home. After 2 1/2 more months, I returned to my home after the smart meter to my home had been replaced with the analog meter. I learned in the research that non-native emf's are square waveforms with 'spikes'. I have repeated asked different health care providers if the 'spikes' from the non-native emf waveforms may be causing persistent activation of the spike proteins within our body contributing to a constant source of inflammation? To date I have received no satisfactory response to this inquiry from a health care provider, only from an electrical engineer. I continue to recover, as it seems I have experienced a cascade of symptoms following-- perhaps even more sensitive to non-native emfs? and currently doing more cleanses as it seems my gut biome has been disrupted (another documented effect from non-native emfs). My energetic reserve, has yet to be restored. In the meantime, earlier this year, I have presented to the local city council 3 times for the city to reconsider installation of a cell tower 600-700ft from the public high school (providing 3 pages of research of cell towers and effects of non-native emf exposure, particularly to children). In spite of the information presented, votes approved for the cell tower installation, noting concern of the city being sued if installation of cell tower was rejected. From the research, I have concluded: People should have NEVER been exposed to non-native emf's without shields and/ or protections; especially of our children. A nurse practitioner reports disabling sensitivity following workplace wireless deployment, early retirem…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
April 2014, I became very ill. I worked in a hospital and they rolled out electronic charting on a Monday before Easter. The roll out included dozens of wireless computers on wheeled work stations for staff, on every floor of a 10 floor hospital. Tuesday, near the end of the day I noticed a headache starting. Each day, while at work, the headache began with in a couple hours of starting my shift. On Thursday at the end of my shift, the headache was unbearable. I rarely had headaches before in my life. This was a headache that began early in my shift and continued until well into the evening, each day after the wireless device roll out. At the end of the work week, I spent 48 hours in bed with a horrible headache, I was unable to get up, walk a straight line, or eat. I was also nauseated. At the end of the 48 hours, I was well enough to make Easter brunch for about 20 people. After another horrific week of headaches due to work, I took some time off and visited Greenbank WV. Within 48 hours, all my symptoms of difficulty with memory, word finding, movement, and nausea resolved. In fact, after just 10 days in Greenbank, I felt 20 years younger. I never felt that great after a vacation in my life. I spent months being medically tested for several potential causes, all were negative. Eventually I was sent to a specialty Environmental Health Clinic, where I was diagnosed with 'Electrosensitivity'. The medical director explained to me how I can shield myself in the hospital setting in order to be able to continue working. It did help but not enough. The shielding clothing needed to be replaced, because over time it was not sufficiently protecting me to be cognitively able to work. I figured out ways to double layer the clothing for more effectiveness. Sometimes I would notice I was becoming terribly ill before the clothing typically lasted, so I would add another layer of clothing. By the time I decided to retire early, I was wearing 5 layers of shielding material on my body and my head, and replacing it every 8 weeks. I am a nurse practitioner and had the kind of job I would have like to work at until 71 years old. However, there I was at 55, forced to retire for my own health. Disability was never in my vocabulary prior to becoming ill with this form of chronic radiation sickness, called 'electrosensitivity. I can't continue my work as an affiliate assistant professor in the local university's Faculty of Medicine. I can't continue working in any health clinic with wireless devices. I have to be very quick buying groceries etc., because when I am exposed for more than 20 minutes, I can feel sick for weeks after that. I can't travel on public transportation (planes, trains, buses), because they all have wireless routers. I can't even receive health care at a hospital because after 20 minutes, I feel horribly nauseated and have trouble thinking. The hospital has routers on the ceilings every 3-15 feet, and in every patient care room and office. I was once a very social person, who taught many graduate students and post doctoral students. This chronic illness with all the same symptoms of 'acute radiation sickness', has disabled me as a member of modern society. I am most upset at the seemingly unchecked, rampant roll out of wireless features in so many devices. I became ill with just one or two wireless devices and an exposure of 22 years. Many people I have met with electrosensitivity became ill approximately 22 years after their first wireless device exposure. Now people have wireless earphones, wireless watches, wireless utility meters, wireless appliances, cars routers, security cameras, baby monitors; the list is seemingly endless. Most research looks at one device and the amount of exposure from it before it causes cancer in animals. These days, people have an accumulation of multiple wireless devices and no one is measuring that accumulation of radiation before people become horribly sick. There is a threshold of radiation exposure for every person. It may be slightly different for everyone. Eventually, at this rate of exposure for everyone, we will all reach/cross that threshold of exposure, and won't be able to work, think, move properly, and have neuroendocrine disorders, or maybe even develop cancer like some of the laboratory animals did (NTP 2018, Rammazini 2018). The world health organization classified wireless technology as a 2B carcinogen in 2011. I don't want more humans to feel as sick as I do in the modern world. Unfortunately, "FEELING IS BELIEVING". When that threshold is crossed, there is no going back to wellness with wireless devices.

The constant exposure to EMF radiation is a severely underlooked environmental issue with serious potential health impacts. A growing number of individuals are reporting complex physiological symptoms that shouldn't be brushed aside. Personally, I routinely suffer from facial flushing, unexpected nosebleeds, out of the blue on/off headaches and tinnitus. It is time for more transparency, deeper research, and real protective action!

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
There's a spot in Medford Oregon where I have trained dogs, and there is a large antenna Tower located right in the middle of the facility. Directly above a Little League diamond where children play baseball, and adjacent to the Boy Scout building. After spending several weekends there, I began to notice that I did not feel good. I did break out in a rash after the third weekend, which is very unusual. I have not experienced that since I stopped going to that spot. There was another weekend with the dog training seminar this past year, and a friend of mine experienced the skin of her face shedding cells similar to a chemical skin peel, after she spent 3 days at the site. I am personally very sensitive to my environment and believe that RF sensitivity is part of that. I would be appreciative of less exposure to RF, and better funding of truly independent science. Not science-funded by the wireless companies that stand to make lots of money off of further expanding Wireless rf.
