I am responding from the perspective of a concerned member of the public who has become electro-magnetic sensitive.
My EMR issues started in 2012 when I had a wireless modem installed in my home and I placed it on my desk instead of mounting
the modem farther away in the room and up on the wall. After some time and experiencing like my brain was swelling with nowhere to go,
It was trapped in the scull and a feeling of claustophobia came over me. I looked at the modem and saw that there was a switch to turn
the wireless feature off which I did. But now no signal to the computer for internet. So, I ran CAT-5 internet cables to my 2 computers
from the modem to the ethernet ports on the computers. I also turned off the wireless and blue tooth fearures in the software in the computer.
I also turned of the wireless and bluetooth features in my phone and moved my smart phone away away from me to near the front door
After 30 minutes the brain swelling disapated and the feeling of claustophobia went away.
went away.
I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I produced a video on You Tube about the dangers about EMR damage
to society. Sincerely, Paul A. Hackman Stone Mountain, Georgia
I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.
Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard. Sincerely, Paul A. Hackman Stone Mountain, Georgia

My daughter was born with health conditions of unknown origin. I had no understanding of modern EMF, RF, and Wireless Radiation Exposure during my pregnancy or while she was an infant. It took 8 years for a medical professional to come up with a diagnosis. She is highly sensitive to EMF exposure, which we have only recently realized. We are concerned with the cumulative effect all the sources of radiation is on her and our 3 other children. We had a smart meter and had to fight to get that turned off. It's so many places, we aren't even aware of them all and the combined load on our family's health. I know of a friend who lives near a 5G tower and had a normal pregnancy experience, morning sickness, cravings, weight gain, belly growing with no baby living inside the uterus - a ghost baby so to speak, she believes the tower may have caused this. She also experiences headaches and a high pitched ringing sound that her other family members can't hear. Another community member had severe ringing in his ears and crippling headaches while living in the city. He had to move out into the country. Once he did, the headaches stopped. We need more studies to have viable information of risks of EMF exporsure and how to help those most vulnerable and affected by it, especially for the special needs community like my 9 year old daughter.

We am responding from the perspective of parents as well as a concerned members of the public. When Barbara has the cellphone next to my ear it does not feel the same as a regular phone. She feels dizzy and hot and I get headaches. Barbara's friend who has M.S. also complains of similar symptoms.

Many types of radiation exposyure have not been fully tested so that we know how safe or harmful they are. Many scientists believe some are incompatible with life. Instead of experimenting on the whole community and watching as reports of increased disease and cancer come in, we need to know what studies show us about their safety. It's not OK to expose people to dangerous environments so wthat big corporations can make a ton of money. Corporations need to become more resyponsible.

I think the explosion on mold-related issues and the explosion we're seeing in children's health issues could be connected to EMFs and wireless radiation. These issues at least warrant further consideration as any studies that were relied upon from a few decades ago, are not possibly comparable with the significant increase in EMFs and wireless (cell phone) exposure, etc. As a parent to four children, I really hope HHS will dive into this with an open mind and provide some much needed information (either showing that this isn't an issue, or that there are legitimate concerns) and if there are legitimate concerns provide enforceable regulations and best practices to help our children and their children's health (as well as our own).

A good friend of the family is a famous osteopath, Dr. Carlisle Holland, who started his college career in electrical engineering and then become more interested in medicine -- so he has an excellent perspective on electronics and their potential impact on health. From what I understand, when FCC was issuing licenses, originally they held the bands 4G and above outside of licensing because they were considered too dangerous to human health. Now we are looking at 6G, which is extremely concerning. When will we draw the line firmly? It is highly concerning that as the signal gets stronger (e.g., from 4G to 5G), it drops off more quickly during transmission, requiring the spacing between stations to be closer. With each bump up in power, there will be more construction needed and each station emitting more powerfully. This is great for construction and/or cell service providers, but not good for the general citizenry. Anecdotally, California is known to have a significant drop in hummingbirds (some places to zero from historically large populations), which may be related to the increase in EMFs. I personally want the choice to limit exposure to EMFs, to avoid documented negative health impacts from high EMF exposure.

I am responding from the perspective of a concerned parent. We used to live in a remote area of England where the nearest 5G cell tower was 6 miles away. Then about three years ago we moved back to the US within 1/2 mile of several towers located by a middle school and children’s sport park. We began experiencing noticeable mystery symptoms we had not encountered before. Our sleep became disrupted, our children started gaining unexplained weight and there is now a constant irritability that plagues our home for no discernible reason. Two of our children are now medicated for mood disorders. I have been doing a lot of research and began to wonder if that the towers might be causing us problems, as most of our other lifestyle choices remain the same. The limited studies I have been able to find do cause me concern and we need to have better information on what is happening to humans as a result of the reckless and rapid expansion of cell towers. It boggles the mind to think cell towers can be put so close to our homes, and without us even knowing about it. All without any proof this is safe. Please do not let cell companies get away with endangering Americans without first examining the health effects on humans, animals and the environment.
