I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a concerned member of the public, I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. More studies on effects of WiFi need to be done. I think items reckless to expand WiFi any further until we know the implications this has on the human body and mind, especially with developing children. Can children safely tolerate more WiFi? How do you know? Please stop and reassess. I find I sleep better with WiFi turned off. Do we even know why that is? More independent studies NEED to be done. I never consented to be in a scientific study so quit experimenting on We The People and consider the impact on children.

Thank you for being concerned about wireless technology. I wish more investigations had happened before we were inundated with this. I turn off all electronics including my router at night, but now am having to deal with a smart meter which i have no desire for,but will have to pay every month for a meter reader if I don’t accept!! My concerns aren’t just wireless radiation, but the large screens in cars, which take attention away from driving ( people driving erratically is now the norm) everywhere I go people looking down using their phones, and the discomfort people feel if their phone isn’t on their person. Wireless radiation has affected me with tinnitus and insomnia, and likely other ailments that I have not yet attributed to wireless radiation exposure. 5G cell towers are everywhere and do they improve your cellular connectivity? No, they don't. Then why are they there? They are not good, very dangerous and toxic, they all need to be taken down. I am responding from the perspective of a concerned member of the public. Signals from LTE – 4G and 5G transmitters are the same frequency as from a home microwave. People are 24/7 exposed to those signals, it’s like living inside a microwave. I know when I was younger a family in the Netherlands who were living under high voltage transmission lines, the effect was that all their new born children had birth defects. And this is only a frequency of 50/60 Hertz but a huge EMF due to the high voltage and current passing through those power lines. Thank you so much for doing this. I'm concerned about the amount of radiation allowed to come from cell phone towers, especially rural ones. This needs to be reduced; existing science is already clear that cancer rates increase for people living closer to towers. Please look into radars. Recently the radar in Duluth, MN tilted its beam down toward earth to capture lower clouds. They said it would not affect human health but it was based on the units of energy per period of time, disregarding the fact that when the beam goes through, it is very intense energy, which concerns me. As a sidenote, though unrelated, please research MRI contrast! Many people have become very ill from it, including myself, and radiologists tell patients like myself there are no side effects. This must be investigated ASAP. Thank you.

I believe I have experienced detrimental health issues related to EMF/RF wifi and wireless radiation. My ears ring and other issues relating to devices. In the process of reporting concerns and seeking physical health evaluations but would like to know more about what is the reason for these effects and how are being controlled or is there any particular oversight comittee relating to these technological issues. it would be helpful to receive information that I can inturn share with friends and family to help document and relay symptoms and concerns. Identifying the source of these issues will also help with finding out how i prevent future exposures and become familiar with what what possible treatment options are too. I would be willing to share more if you would like more specific details.

SCIENCE SHOULD FOLLOW THE SIGNAL We live in an electromagnetic universe. Every day, Earth receives signals from space, including radio waves from distant astronomical objects. We also use satellites, radar, telecommunications, Wi-Fi, and countless other technologies that rely on electromagnetic energy. The answer to questions about electromagnetic fields (EMFs), radiofrequency (RF) radiation, and wireless exposure will not be found in fear, speculation, or political slogans. It will be found in good science. As a healthcare professional, I strongly support HHS conducting a rigorous, independent, evidence-based review. We should examine actual exposure levels, frequencies, power densities, duration, modulation, cumulative exposure, and potential biological effects. We should study long-term exposure, children, occupational risks, and emerging technologies. We should distinguish biological effects from demonstrated health hazards, correlation from causation, and plausible hypotheses from reproducible findings. We should also acknowledge what remains uncertain. Science does not dismiss legitimate questions. It investigates them. Science does not manufacture certainty. It measures, tests, replicates, and challenges. We should not fear the signal. We should understand it. I encourage researchers, physicians, engineers, and members of the public to submit credible evidence and clearly identified research gaps to HHS before the October 21, 2026, deadline. I noticed a significant increase in migraines since the start of 5g signals. I want to know what are the known symptoms and what we can do to protect ourselves or remediate the problem.
