I am submitting this comment in respuuonse to HHS's Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a parent and community member.
Many types of radiation exposyure have not been fully tested so that we know how safe or harmful they are. Many scientists believe some are incompatible with life. Instead of experimenting on the whole community and watching as reports of increased disease and cancer come in, we need to know what studies show us about their safety. It's not OK to expose people to dangerous environments so wthat big corporations can make a ton of money. Corporations need to become more resyponsible.
I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.
I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research pbriorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.
Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.
I think the explosion on mold-related issues and the explosion we're seeing in children's health issues could be connected to EMFs and wireless radiation. These issues at least warrant further consideration as any studies that were relied upon from a few decades ago, are not possibly comparable with the significant increase in EMFs and wireless (cell phone) exposure, etc. As a parent to four children, I really hope HHS will dive into this with an open mind and provide some much needed information (either showing that this isn't an issue, or that there are legitimate concerns) and if there are legitimate concerns provide enforceable regulations and best practices to help our children and their children's health (as well as our own).

A good friend of the family is a famous osteopath, Dr. Carlisle Holland, who started his college career in electrical engineering and then become more interested in medicine -- so he has an excellent perspective on electronics and their potential impact on health. From what I understand, when FCC was issuing licenses, originally they held the bands 4G and above outside of licensing because they were considered too dangerous to human health. Now we are looking at 6G, which is extremely concerning. When will we draw the line firmly? It is highly concerning that as the signal gets stronger (e.g., from 4G to 5G), it drops off more quickly during transmission, requiring the spacing between stations to be closer. With each bump up in power, there will be more construction needed and each station emitting more powerfully. This is great for construction and/or cell service providers, but not good for the general citizenry. Anecdotally, California is known to have a significant drop in hummingbirds (some places to zero from historically large populations), which may be related to the increase in EMFs. I personally want the choice to limit exposure to EMFs, to avoid documented negative health impacts from high EMF exposure.

I am responding from the perspective of a concerned parent. We used to live in a remote area of England where the nearest 5G cell tower was 6 miles away. Then about three years ago we moved back to the US within 1/2 mile of several towers located by a middle school and children’s sport park. We began experiencing noticeable mystery symptoms we had not encountered before. Our sleep became disrupted, our children started gaining unexplained weight and there is now a constant irritability that plagues our home for no discernible reason. Two of our children are now medicated for mood disorders. I have been doing a lot of research and began to wonder if that the towers might be causing us problems, as most of our other lifestyle choices remain the same. The limited studies I have been able to find do cause me concern and we need to have better information on what is happening to humans as a result of the reckless and rapid expansion of cell towers. It boggles the mind to think cell towers can be put so close to our homes, and without us even knowing about it. All without any proof this is safe. Please do not let cell companies get away with endangering Americans without first examining the health effects on humans, animals and the environment.

I’m a 46 year old mother of 2. Grew up in the 80s. Times have certainly changed. No one talks anymore - no one looks up anymore. They are constantly neck down staring drooling fixating on blue screen - zombie like circadian rhythm disruption so obvious almost as it was meant to provide harm. Cell phone towers next to schools and parks - dumbing the masses down. I have seen the decline of our children our young adults and ourselves slowly. No one is living in real life anymore just in the bubble of wireless nothingness. Radiation is very real - please make these signals harmonious- like the hertz that heal. Make America Wired again!

I am someone who is personally negatively affected by wireless radiation. When they built a cell tower too close to my home, we had to spent a great deal of money to hire people to evaluate how we could protect ourselves from it. Special paints. Special curtains. We are hard-wired to the internet. We do have a wifi router we can use but we cover it with special radiation reducing materials and we limit the times we use it. This personal. And many more suffer a lot more than me from it's effects. 5G is even worse.

Hello: I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I submit this for myself, my children, my community, the environment, and the world.
In approximately 2009/2010 I became sensitive to wireless radiation and thought at one point that I would become one of the people on the street living in my car to get away from it. I have watched my mother, my children, and many others react to this radiation. It is so difficult now to get away from it, there are few places left that are not contaminated with this radiation. For myself, my symptoms around the radiation are that I get red in the face, eye pain, dry eyes, prickly feelings on the top of my head, body aches and pains, then trouble breathing, feelings of panic, then short term memory loss, and at my worst, I began blacking out. I have used shielding paints, put metal sides on my home, hard wired computers, stayed away from coffee shops, and even moved to the country to get away from this radiation. When I live in it, I cannot sleep, cannot get comfortable, am irritable and sick. When I am shielded from it or have little of it, I am never ill. Since it is clear that this radiation is dangerous and makes people ill, it should be regulated.
I have read scientific studies in the Bioinitiative Report. Also those on the website for the Environmental Health Trust. I have read the studies on the website powerwatch.org.uk as well as many other sites. I have had to hire Building Biologists to help me shield myself in my home. I have seen how this radiation affects the health and the emotional state of our children.
Secretary Kennedy and HHS, please take an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. The Agencies like HHS should be looking at actual science including most importantly independent scientists. An Agency should use the precautionary principle in assessing harm to human health. It should be skeptical of what industry says, and what industry funds. Please use what I and others report in terms of health effects, as people across the world report the same or similar health effects from this radiation. It is time that the health effects to people and the environment are looked at front and center and not swept under the rug. The birds, bees, bats, people, pets, insects, and all life, is suffering from this radiation in our environment 24/7.
There is more than enough evidence right now of the health effects and effects on wildlife and our pets to take action now. What are we waiting for? Anything that can be hardwired should be hardwired. Any wireless should be a last resort.

I am responding from the perspective of a parent, advocate, and concerned member of the public. It is extremely concerning and a very serious issue for everyone, especially our children who are still developing physically, mentally, and emotionally. It should be a top priority since our children are being exposed everyday and I'm afraid that they will have cancer, brain tumors, memory loss, vision loss, radiation, and a host of other diseases if we don't take a stand and stop this. Children and parents aren't aware of the dangers that technology has on our bodies and minds. I have a child who isn't educated on these issues since she doesn't know the peer medical reviews or doctors who know the causes of these dangerous devices. I would like you to inform the humanity before it is too late.

I am responding from the perspective of a patient.
I currently have chosen to remove the Smart Meter from my home. I do not use a wireless router. My home is pretty much wifi free. I sleep under an EMF tent/canopy. I do not use a microwave oven. I do not believe that wireless is good for my health. I do not have any specifics to report, but I have made these choices based on my research and to try to preserve my health.
