I am responding to your request for information as to RF exposure. I have gotten severe headaches from a wireless router in the past. Always switch to lowest emissions where I can. If it can give me a headache, what is it doing to my health? This happened even when my roommate turned it on and I didn't know it was on. So it wasn't psychosomatic. I always had it off when I wasn't using it, which I know is a hassle.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a concerned member of the public. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

The commenter recounts a near collision attributed to glare from an oncoming vehicle's LED headlights.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I can testify to a near fatality involving LED headlamps. It involved 3 cars. One, with LED headlamps, in the opposite lane of other two cars. I was in the first car, without LEDs, and was approaching a curve over a gorge. Another car was behind me, also no LEDs from my rearview mirror assessment. Second car may have been travelling too close to my car but not unsafely. The car approaching us in the opposing lane came into our sightline while we entered the curve. I was totally blinded by the LEDs and had to apply my brakes hard because I did not know where I was on the curve. The second driver did the same but not as quickly because, when the LEDs had passed and our eyes adjusted, she was nearly touching my bumper. We could both have plummeted into that gorge, and the LED driver wouldn't have even known to call rescue. Afterall, they could see clearly even as they blinded us.

I think it is insane to erect cell towers near peoples homes and schools because people have been getting sick. This must stop until the electro magnetic radiation has been scientifically tested to see the affect it has on humans animals and the environment!

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a patient. I have been trying to recover from toxic mold exposure and have ME/CFS so I am very sick and unable to work. I have noticed whenever I am near my phone or using my cell phone, I start to feel very ill after about an hour. I get extremely tired with dizziness and brain fog. I also can get headaches and neurological issues, such as difficulty walking. I have a feeling the EMF from the phone is making my brain even more inflamed than it already is from the mold mycotoxins and ME/CFS condition. I would really appreciate it if the HHS could figure out exactly why I feel so awful after using my phone. I am trying to heal from my conditions and want to better understand what factors impede the healing process and why.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a concerned American citizen. Wireless radiation has affected you personally as I have a brain condition (congenital) and I have a VP shunt implanted in my brain. Living with a shunt for 52 years has not been fun but since we were forced to put smart meters in our homes, I suffer from debilitating headaches, poor sleep and general malaise. Additionally, within six months of my home being forced to be fitted with a smart meter, I was in the hospital having a new shunt implanted (my previous shunt was with me for 34 years!) I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to comment.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
The new LED headlights need to be regulated and reined in. They blind oncoming traffic and create hazardous conditions. There has to be a compromise where the lights are bright enough for safe driving for everyone on the road.
