My close friend’s husband has been fighting testicular cancer believed to be a result of exposure from a cellphone’s wireless radiation. I believe HHS should address this issue.
I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.
I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.
Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

Based on MyChart data dating back to 2007, I went from an average of 2.5 doctor's visits per year to 22 doctor's visits within 18 months. The above list of ailments was generated from our doctors’ records during this time.
During the 18 months of pain and sickness, we thought the air quality or pollution were responsible for how terrible we felt. Then, on a whim, I ordered an RF/Microwave radiation scanner, which led us to the source of our affliction. A thorough scan revealed radiation levels so high that the scanner could not register them (the meter’s maximum reading was 20,000 microwatts per meter squared). The readings came from a cell tower about 1.5 blocks away, which emitted a direct beam of radiation into our bedroom window, exposing us nightly to continuous microwave radiation.
Upon discovering this, we blocked the radiation from coming into our window, which brought the signal down to almost nothing, almost eliminating the levels where we slept. That night, I experienced my first night of solid 8 straight hours of sleep in over a year. That was the first night that neither of us woke up repeatedly to use the restroom. Following this was the first morning in over a year that my husband was able to get out of bed without excruciating joint pain. That was the first night that our bodies began to heal.
Since removing ourselves from this harmful environment 2 years ago, nearly all our symptoms have disappeared. I have returned to my previous rate of 2.5 doctor’s visits per year. All that remains for me is a shrinking thyroid nodule and a sensitivity to RF/microwave radiation exposure that yields unpleasant to unbearable physical reactions.
The entire experience, including its aftermath, has been extremely difficult, scary, and sad for my family. It took two years to recover emotionally and find the strength to share my story. Although I hate telling people about this, I do so out of love, because I don’t want anyone to go through what happened to us.

I am responding from the perspective of a concerned member of the public and as one who is negatively affected by man-made electromagnetic radiation.
I personally suffer from tinnitus and severe vertigo. When I was living in a city with smart meters, cell towers, neighbors wi-fi, etc. my symptoms were becoming more severe as time went by. About 2 years, ago we moved to an acreage where the emf levels are low the great majority of the time and since we have moved here I have not had any more vertigo attacks. In my opinion, man-made electromagnetic radiation is the latest, greatest environmental pollutant and it has become ubiquitous in our present world. Many people as well as all life in the environment is negatively affected, as we have evolved to function in the natural electromagnetic environment.
I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. My ears rang continuously until I learned to eliminate the EMF sources. I had two serious bouts of vertigo lasting hours. When I felt I was going to go into a “spin” I would force myself to stay awake and get out of that environment. My eyes were doing funny things even when they were closed. Once I was driving. I was not sleepy but I had to struggle to keep my eyes from closing. Myself and my dog were up several times a night and I always felt tired. We slept through the night the day the sources were identified. Brain fog all the time and I started forgetting things. I could tell when 5 G came to my area, and multiple cell towers. My symptoms became worse. As I learned to shield myself, the symptoms are not as severe. There are still two rooms in my house that I cannot sleep in and I believe it may be related to my two neighbor’s smart meters.
I'm a chiropractor. A while back a couple I had been treating started devloping odd symptoms that did not fit their previous patterns. A huge cell tower had been put up about a hundred yeards from their house. I begged them to move but it kept being put off. She developed atrial tribulation and he died of multiple myeloma. PLUS – each neighbor next to them died of cancer along with their dogs, also of cancer. I commonly see insomnia, headaches and agitation with patients exposed to high wi-fi microwave radiation. I surmise that microwave radiation increases inflammation throughout the body and some people can handle it better than others depending upon many factors. Personally I have a meter to measure wi-fi and do not spend any time in high radiation. Consequently I am much less social than I used to be, not going to restaurants, concerts etc. The health effects of microwave radiation need to be QUANTIFIED!!!! so people can know and regulate what they are dealing with. The proliferation of microwave without adequate investigation is CRIMINAL!!! FCC and government malfeasance is KILLING people!
This comment is in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am a parent and a concerned member of the public. I feel very worried about the affects of wireless radiation on our human biology and the biology of all living beings. I know so many people who are sensitive to EMF's, who have gotten migraines after a tower was installed nearby, etc. I am concerned that these things have not been properly tested for safety. As a parent, I don't feel that this is safe for my children. We all feel so much better when we are camping away from any cell service and I believe it is due to getting away from the wireless radiation. HHS must address this issue. They should examine the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I hope HHS will carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing us with an opportunity to be heard.
I am a concerned member of the public submitting my response to HHS in regards to electromagnetic fields and wireless radiation exposure.
Personally, I find it very difficult to use a computer and to be around devices that emit EMF’s. This radiation severely affects my brain, so that it is very difficult for me to think and I need to lay down and rest.
Several years ago I purchased a hybrid vehicle and became sick for the entire time I owned it. The car caused me to become weak and I could no longer pick up heavy objects as I once had. . My back started to go out on me and I constantly felt like I had a flu with aches, pains and exhaustion. This lasted for six years, until I decided to get rid of my car, to see if I would begin to feel better. Although I did not know what the outcome would be, I hoped at least I would not get worse.
To my relief my flu like symptoms and exhaustion improve significantly. Although it is still very difficult for me to be in front of computers and wireless technology, I am grateful to no longer have the debilitating symptoms that my hybrid car caused me.
This experience has left me extremely concerned about the health of children and all people and animals as most all of us are exposed to this type of radiation.
I have noticed in my area in southern Californiathat we have less insects, bats birds and other wild animals, leaving me to believe that this radiation is affecting the well-being of all.
Thank you, HHS, for allowing me to submit my experiences with EMF’s and wireless technology.
Wireless radiation absolutely makes you sick. Several of our neighbors that live near towers went to the emergency room with numerous complaints. They were all diagnosed with electromagnetic radiation poisoning. These towers have no place in our environment. They
also killed the surrounding trees and plants.
