Here are studied on how eel and honeybees are affected by EMF.
Honeybees:
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10181175/
"We assessed the effect that electromagnetic field (EMF) exerts on honeybees’ pollination efficiency using field and laboratory experiments. First, we measured levels of gene and protein expression in metabolic pathways involved in stress and behavioral responses elicited by EMF. Second, we assessed the effect of EMF on honeybee behavior and seed production by the honeybee-pollinated California poppy and, lastly, by measuring the consequences of pollination failure on plants’ community richness and abundance. EMF exposure exerted strong physiological stress on honeybees as shown by the enhanced expression of heat-shock proteins and genes involved in antioxidant activity and affected the expression levels of behavior-related genes. Moreover, California poppy individuals growing near EMF received fewer honeybee visits and produced fewer seeds than plants growing far from EMF. Last, we found a hump-shaped relationship between EMF and plant species richness and plant abundance. Our study provides conclusive evidence of detrimental impacts of EMF on honeybee’s pollination behavior, leading to negative effects on plant community."
Below are two studies on eels. The larger scale study in a natural setting with a sea cable indicates an influence. The smaller scale lab experiment shows no influence. Maybe the voltage or cable difference?
Eel study 1:
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/230165374_Sub-sea_power_cables_and_migration_behaviour_of_the_European_eel
"Abstract
Coded acoustic tags and an array with moored receivers were used to study the effect of a sub-sea AC power cable on migrating European eel, Anguilla anguilla (L.) in the Baltic Sea. Sixty eels were tagged and the migration speed was measured in a strait with a 130 kV AC power cable. Observed swimming speed over the ground was corrected for advection by the water current. Eel swimming speed was significantly lower around the cable than both north and south of the cable. No details on the behaviour during passage over the cable were possible and possible physiological mechanisms explaining the phenomenon are unknown. Further work is needed to understand the nature of the effect."
Eel study 2:
https://www.gov.scot/publications/scottish-marine-freshwater-science-vol-6-8-effects-ac-magnetic/
" There was no evidence of a difference in movement due to the MF nor observations of startle or other obvious behavioural changes associated with the magnetic fields. Level of movement decreased as the experiments progressed and increased with eel size. Eel passage through coils was unaffected by whether or not they were activated. In applying these results it must be kept in mind that the sample size was small, nocturnal behaviour was not tested and the field strengths were lower than might be encountered in the wild in some situations."

I discovered years ago that the migraine headaches I was suffering daily were being caused by the wireless WiFi radiation in my home. When I would turn off the wifi my headaches would go away. This was HUGE! I had been suffering daily as I said for years! I now live out in the desert 30 miles outside of the closest city and I have absolutely NO wireless anywhere on my 10 acres because of this. I am very very sensitive to it and it absolutely was ruining my life before I discovered the cause. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE back off on this unrelenting wireless growth!
I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.
I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.
Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.
My name is Michele G. I have towers all over my neighborhood. More here than anywhere else in Buffalo ny and the suburbs where I live in the town of Hamburg NY. There is a tower at least every two miles. I have one down the street from me. I have had three cancers in the past five years. I was tested and they are not genetic. The radiation that comes off those towers are very strong. And I am not the only one here with cancer. Every other house someone has cancer. Birds have disappeared. And I get ringing in my ears quite a bit. We do not need these towers. I feel bad for the people that have them right over their heads. No one asked us to put the towers up. Seems just like spraying the skies. We are tired of this government doing what ever it pleases. Without our consent. They need to be taken down. The RADATION from just one tower is causing headaches and many other health issues. Thank you for letting me voice my concerns
In June of this year, 2026, we were forced to upgrade to a SMART meter, which we did not want. Prior to the SMART meter, we had a lot of squirrels with beautiful coats, very vibrant and active. Within a few weeks after SMART meter installation on our street, the squirrels started looking sick and now we have none. At my community garden, plants are growing much more slowly. Some of them do not thrive at all. This has been going on for 2 years now, and it is widespread throughout the entire garden. It's like something is holding them down, which I'm wondering may be attributed to all of the EMF pollution. My ability to sleep well has changed since the SMART meter was installed. Now I have a sleepless night or two per week. Thank you so much for asking, I am deeply concerned about the EMF pollution now totally enveloping our beautiful planet. When will all of this madness stop????

Personally, I have been severely affected by EMF's and Wireless Radiation Exposure as well as my son. I've had horrible tinnitus for a few years now and have done almost everything to stop it or at least to try and lessen it. I notice when I shut off my wifi router it's a lot better but there are 5G towers everywhere and now with the smaller extenders on street posts it's horrible. We know how it's unhealthy and there needs more regulation.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to share my personal experience with radiofrequency exposure from Wi-Fi and 4G/5G transmitters in my surroundings.
I live in Norway, and I am concerned about the increasing level of radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation to which people are exposed. I am also concerned that safety limits and assessments may rely heavily on information and research connected to the telecommunications industry itself.
I own and operate a company in Norway. We have several computers and a Wi-Fi system at our premises, and the company has been operating for more than ten years. During the first few years, we used desktop computers connected to the internet exclusively through Wi-Fi.
In 2017, I received a new desktop computer, which was positioned close to my right foot. Shortly afterwards, I began noticing an unusual sensation along the right side of my body. It felt like a persistent tingling, irritation or discomfort that started in my lower right leg and extended upwards to slightly above my right hip.
This continued for several months—possibly four or five months. I consulted a chiropractor because I thought the symptoms might be caused by a trapped nerve or a similar problem, but the treatment did not help.
Some time later, we installed a wired internet connection at the premises, significantly reducing our reliance on Wi-Fi. Within approximately one week of installing the wired network, the tingling and irritation on the right side of my body disappeared.
To test whether the change might be connected to the Wi-Fi, we disconnected the wired network approximately two weeks later and returned to using Wi-Fi. After a few days, the tingling sensation returned. It was not painful, but it felt like an irritation deep inside the muscles, similar to the sensation of a compressed or irritated nerve.
Since that experiment, we have used only a wired internet connection at the company, and I have not experienced those symptoms again.
I still use a mobile phone and have Wi-Fi in my home. I am not frightened or distressed by wireless technology in my daily life. However, I am concerned that the telecommunications industry may have too much influence over the standards used to determine which exposure levels are considered safe.
Based on the timing of my symptoms, their disappearance after switching to a wired connection, and their return when we temporarily resumed using Wi-Fi, I am convinced that radiofrequency exposure from the Wi-Fi equipment caused my body to react.
I have also noticed that vegetation surrounding some 4G and 5G towers in Norway appears to show poorer growth when trees are located very close to the transmitters. I cannot establish the cause based on observation alone, but it adds to my concern that prolonged exposure at close range may have biological effects. When the industry presents this technology as entirely harmless, without what I consider sufficient independent long-term research, I become sceptical.
I believe experiences such as mine deserve to be documented and investigated through genuinely independent scientific research. I hope that health authorities will continue to examine the possible biological effects of long-term radiofrequency exposure and ensure that public safety standards are based on precaution, transparency and research that is independent of the telecommunications industry.
Sincerely,
Geir Loseth

I am commenting for myself and in support of increased evaluation of the negative effects of wireless radiation. I first experienced the effects when my husband bought me a cell phone. I tried it out for a very short period maybe it was only hours or maybe it was only minutes and felt and immediate effect of my head feeling fuzzy. I had already read up on my concerns about wireless radiation and didn't want a cell phone because of that but once I felt how bad the effects were I had him take the cell phone back! Some years later I was using wireless telephone not a cell phone talking out in the backyard for more than an hour. I realize that it made my head feel sick and got off the phone but continued to have my head feel fuzzy and sick for hours afterwards! Then I knew how dangerous it is to use a wireless telephone especially when it was far from the base! Now if I use my cell phone up to my ear my ear canal will start aching right away! And in the past when I have rarely continue to use it I have felt pain in my shoulder on the side that I used the cell phone and it hurt all the way down to my hand! I searched and found a cell phone with the lowest SAR rating! I always keep the phone away from my head! Nevertheless if I've used the phone and used my finger to touch it for very long my finger will start hurting and if I continue the pain goes up my arm! Also if I am sitting near my computer and using it for very long my head starts feeling fuzzy and sick!
It is irresponsible for the commission to have not studied this previously and it is absolutely necessary to bring out the truth of the harm to the public!
