We, unfortunately, put solar on our roof. Almost immediately, my blood pressure skyrocked, woke up with heart palpitations, whole body shaking. Thought I was going to have a heart attack. It took a great deal of time to determine the cause. Had the solar turned off after threatening Solar City. We had a guy come and check the energy levels in the house, was through the roof. Changed our electronic meter to a "read" meter. Blood pressure returned to normal 110/70 and have not had an issue since. I have ALL the documentation on this. Shocking to me that people buy electric cars without a thought they are living in an electrical box!

In 2001, Andrew and his newlywed wife moved into a newly constructed home. After about 6 months, they both experienced headaches and an intense fatigue everyday around 5-7pm, showed signs of discoloration under and around the eyes and burning on the skin. Andrew had became electrically sensitive (ES) to everything electrical in the home including cell phones, WiFi, bluetooth and outside TV/radio and cell towers. They began to suspect that the radio tower across the street might have been the cause. Electrical engineer and EMF specialist Charles Keen (emfservices.com) just happened to be driving from Florida through the state the following day. We began our discovery with him and learned about the wiring problems and code violations in our home in addition to the nearby tower radiation levels. For example, Charles found 9V of electricity in the bed which explained the crawling sensation on Andrew's face at night and fans, outlets, panels and other incorrectly wired devices created magnetic fields across the living areas. Repairing the home wiring helped reduce some symptoms, but it was too late. Moving at the 2 year mark to another home wasn't enough to eliminate the pain, headaches and fatigue from a different radio/TV tower or the electric fields from basic home wiring. We moved again to an apartment while looking for the 3rd home. Finally, after finding a home in 2006 that seemed to satisfy all the basic tower minimum readings, living in this new environment led to the discovery of even deeper home wiring issues and grounding problems that my body was becoming sensitive to. Despite seeing every medical professional available specializing in anything related to the symptoms, things became worse. Doctors tried heavy metal chelation therapy, UV blood treatments, Neurological testing, herbal and vitamin therapies, etc., etc. Finding his brother's dairy raw colostrum seemed to help the most, Andrew put up a website to alert others of this unique condition and its pitfalls. Andrew had also been hiring EMF experts like Karl Riley to come and troubleshoot the home wiring problems and had gradually acquired a number of meters and a personal preference to tracing techniques. Being ES, he was aware of some problems that were not being typically traced. His full time career as a professional musician (principal horn of the NC Symphony) became exceeding difficult to perform with this condition (around wi-fi, cell phones, poor electrical wiring) and in 2007 changed to teaching music at UNC at Chapel Hill. The ADA wasn't much support in helping substantiate his condition but through numerous meetings and presentations was able to work out an arrangement with management and tech staff to turn off the wi-fi emitters in his teaching locations. Around 2008, he began receiving calls related to the new radiation producing electric meters. Using his meters and skills learned to help himself, he began helping others reduce their pain by locating and shielding various sources of EMFs. He also led in depth multi-year campaigns petitioning the NC Non-Ionizing Commission, NC Utility Commission and NC legislature for an opt-out to smart meters (and against 5G), as well as other measures. By 2015, his group had successfully achieved a smart meter medical opt-out with Duke Power for Carolinians. With increasing demand from the Lyme and ES community, Andrew ended his major musical obligations and began a full time devotion to the Home EMF Tracing service in May of 2017. Andrew completed and received his Residential Electrician's Career Diploma from Penn Foster in May, 2019 and a Certificate of Completion (Honorary) for 206.2 Electrical Home Wiring from the International Institute for Building Biology & Ecology (BBE) in December, 2019. Started W-2 employment on Jan. 2, 2023 with Bonneville Electric (Carrboro, NC) as an electrician service technician He is also OSHA 10 certified has been a lab leader/teacher for the BBE Advanced Electromagnetic Radiation 302 course. May 28 2025: Passed both exams and now a licensed electrician / electrical contractor in North Carolina and West Virginia for single family dwellings. His tracing practice involves the latest meters and innovations to find the most difficult EMF's a home can hide. Current on the grounding system caused by improper neutral/case connections, appliances, ground/neutral connections, cableTV and water lines, are often disregarded and overlooked. Rewiring with MC cable and adding cut-off switches to lower electric fields that raise body voltage, panel diagnostics to find and remove contact current sources, removing Wi-Fi and installing ethernet and phone lines. This topic on EMF's RF radiation and ELF's is bigger than what most people know or think. The human body is run by electrical frequencies and that is how the over 36 trillion cells within our body communicate with one another. If that communication is interfered with by frequencies, then the body is compromised in so many fashions that it is how to calculate the damage that is being done to it. As an example, if you are driving your car and you have your AM radio on, and then pass under high tension power lines, you notice that the program you are listening to stops because of great interference from going under the power lines. That same effect happens to our human body every time we are exposed to external frequencies from various sources. Our human cells during that exposure stop communicating with one another and the body is greatly compromised during this exposed time. Our human systems stop functioning to a great degree. Our immune system is not protecting us as it was designed to do. It's been reported that people who have homes with high powered wires over them have had many illnesses including cancer. When our cells cannot communicate with one another, this becomes a cascading effect that ultimately results in disease formation and debilitating breakdowns in the proper function of the human body. If this is not corrected soon, all society will be at risk of functional breakdowns that will results in a non functional and a non productive society at large. I recommend that the placement of all these frequencies be reconsidered and placed in low risk areas and farmed into population centers considering the lowest possible exposure to the public at large. The technology and innovation is there to mitigate the risk to all. We just have to have the will to implement it.

We need to clamp down on the EMR created by private companies for their profit and not with our safety in mind. This includes involuntary exposures like smart meters, dirty electricity, and any involuntary appliance or transmitter that generates EMR. These signals are causing illnesses that cannot be proven scientifically because no one looks for or documents 'problems' when revenue loss could happen if they find them. Please tell me why we are so inundated with cell towers and transmitters regardless of whether or not we need better signals or want them. From my home I have direct views of a huge cell tower, why is it necessary to add extra transmitters to towers and on our light poles. I bought a tester and everywhere in my home it reads 'extreme' and blinks with no wireless phones installed and the router turned off. I cannot escape extreme signals. And I do not know how to protect my grandson, daughter and myself from these signals. We should be able to turn off the signals so we can sleep in peace and rest our bodies. We have no choice in the matter. There is no recourse other than moving and who can afford that, and even then, it is hard to find a safer location. There needs to be limits that are safe. There needs to be studies done to set safe limits by an unbiased group who is not 'bought' by these private companies. You wonder why cancer is exploding. This is just one of the problems that needs fixing. So, fix it. Give proper guidelines and limits based on these unbiased studies to the companies and let them figure out how to accomplish their goals without hurting citizens. WE NEED TO REDUCE CURRENT EXPOSURE BEFORE IMPLEMENTING ANY NEW TECHNOLOGY AND AT THE COMPANIES EXPENSE. TAXPAYERS CAN'T TAKE ANY MORE INCREASES FOR COMPANY PROFITS.

In 2017 I was diagnosed with a brain tumor called a meningioma brain tumor. These are brain tumors that are known to be caused from exposure to x-rays, and that type of magnetic energy field. Leading up to the diagnosis of my brain tumor my family and I moved into a new home and I began to experience excruciating migraines. I was hospitalized sometimes for days with a diagnosis of clustered migraines. In addition to moving, we purchased some property behind us and brought my horses home to live with us after they had been living at a boarding facility for years. That winter, my horses refused to drink from their water troughs due to electric shock. After several troubleshooting methods and contacting different electricians, we were told that we had “Dirty Electric electricity on our property “we contacted Ameren who admitted that the issue was from the electrical poles in the backyard, emitting electricity. This began a five year ordeal. Eventually, we sold the home and moved, and I have recovered to the most possible. Although we tried to sue and were told that we had a very strong Case from different attorneys we were also told that they would refuse to take the case because Ameren UE was such a large company that they would bankrupt the firm before we could ever settle. After building my new home Ameren ue came back and installed a meter on my new barn. This is not the America that we used to know. We now live in an America where big corporations can do anything they want to you with no recourse. This is my story, but it’s not the whole story. Every single Neighbor, experienced cancer, MS, lupus, childhood cancer, and some form of a very serious illness. What a much better America we would have if we could just have some regulations. I have tons of pictures of Ameren Yui coming to my farm and digging up my property and trying to install a grid system to take the dirty electricity out of the air and into the ground. One day awhile back, my internet and phone were down. I took a walk outside to the street area where I live. There was an older gentleman working on the power line. He came down to speak with me. He said don't worry, your internet and phone will be back on line shortly. I asked him if he was aware of the dangers of the EMF's. He said yes, " I have a radiation meter in my pocket and it goes off after 5 minutes. Then I have to come down off the pole for a few minutes, and then go back up. " He gave me an apologetic look, and said he was glad to be retiring soon.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure.I am responding from the perspective of a son and caregiver.I watched my mother decline from dementia far faster than I ever expected. In a short span she went from managing her own home to confusion, memory loss, agitation, and a loss of the person I knew. Her house sits close to a cell tower and near power lines. She spent years living there, with those sources always present. I cannot prove they caused her illness. I also cannot ignore how quickly she changed in that setting, or how helpless it felt to see her mind slip while those structures remained part of her daily environment.Reducing her exposure was never simple. Moving her was emotionally and practically hard. Changing the environment around an elderly person already losing ground is not a clean experiment. What I can say is that the experience left me convinced federal health agencies should take these reports seriously instead of leaving families to guess.I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation and other electromagnetic sources. Questions about human health belong with agencies that have expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health. The accounts of families who believe nearby towers, power lines, or chronic wireless exposure played a part should be weighed together with the scientific evidence, not dismissed because they are personal.I urge HHS to evaluate these experiences and the research with care, identify gaps, give particular attention to older adults and other potentially vulnerable groups, and set clear federal research priorities on wireless radiation, EMFs, and public health.Thank you for giving individuals and families a chance to be heard.

I have experience, extreme anxiety, brain fog, and a feeling of being wired, or on edge, when exposed to high levels of EMFs. This is most prominent for me with AC electric fields and dirty electricity. Unlike RF radiation, these are accidental features of our current electric grid and are not necessary for them to function properly. I have friends who are extremely sensitive to other forms of EMF as well, such as RF radiation, which limits their livelihoods and thriving. I believe that EMF mitigation should be considered basic public health measures, just like water quality, air quality, and food safety. ***Serious health conditions can rapidly resolve when harmful EMF exposures are removed from the human body.*** These issues are simply too complex, and too expensive for the end consumer to mitigate for their health. I’m a licensed physician assistant, but even with my credential and understanding of EMFs, the issue is so complex and all-encompassing that I have a hard time getting it across to friends, family, and patients. I urge the FCC, HHS, and any other relevant governmental body to initiate widespread study, and mitigation of these harmful effects, for the education and protection of the public.

I created 13 mostly large notebooks of science papers documenting issues with EMF'S. Its abundantly clear they are harmful. Please regulate emfs and, better, change them to frequencies that are not harmful and possibly are healing. Such frequencies exist and are being used in health practices. Also regulate and educate on electrical wiring emfs in homes and appliances abd teach emf hygiene to kids in schools and the public.

I purchased the UHS2 3-Axis AC Gaussmeter to measure the AC frequency in my home because I live right behind a power pole (20 ft from my backyard) and the substation is less than a quarter mile north of my home. I've kept track of the measurements in all the rooms in my house which has significantly increased during the summertime. The measurements in my backyard and master bedroom are the most concerning because it's the closest to the powerline. I also hired a building biologist to measure my home that measured alarming measurements for RF, AC magnetic fields, AC Electric fields, and dirty electricity. The building biologist and the company that I bought the Gaussmeter from recommended a mG measurement no greater than 1 and anything above 5 is considered severe. My measurements in some areas of my house (including the master bedroom and backyard) are well over 5 in most times of the day, especially in summer. This plays a part in my daily living and makes it uncomfortable living in our newly purchased home (7 months) after discovering the harmful effects of frequency from the powerlines. Symptom wise, I have been getting more and more dizzy spells and plan to address this with an environmental medicine practitioner to rule out vertigo. I addressed my concerns about the powerlines with the builder we purchased the home with and were told in an email: "...Regarding the concerns about the EMF levels, it is important to clarify that there are currently no universally accepted federal standards in the US establishing hazardous residential exposure limits for EMF from power lines. The findings you referenced are based on precautionary guidelines rather than safety standards and they do not indicate that the home is unsafe or outside regulatory compliance..." Please address this issue with more research and data. There are many homes in my town that live right next to a powerline. Thank you for your time.
