This is an addition to my previous report (pasted below as well) Copy of previous report below ID: HHS-OASH-2026-0397-0001 I am 100% certain, I could pass a double-blind experiment. If I hold an Apple phone for 5 minutes I start feeling sick. So, for the study, an Apple phone that is on could be rotated with one that is completely turned off. I'm certain about few things in life, but am certain here, that I would be 100% accurate in indicating which phone is on. I was an office administrator, sat next to servers and routers for years. I noticed if I spent the whole weekend in my bedroom (shared rental) I'd feel unwell. I retired in 2020 and got really sick like I was being poisoned. Doctors couldn't figure it out and I was having thoughts that I'd have to leave this world if it continued. An EMF expert came to my home and said my 2 cordless phones were putting out 60,000mw of RF each. I start feeling sick at 60mw. At night, the house router was on the other side of the wall, a few feet from my head and he said with the smart TV at my feet, it was like baking in a microwave oven. I got rid of cordless phones, hard-wired my devices and changed to ethernet and felt a lot better. However, I can't go to libraries, concerts, church, some restaurants and coffee shops with lots of RF or strong routers. I get dizzy, my energy goes down, then I feel nausea and like my whole body is being poisoned. I visited a friend in the hospital and was sick within 15 minutes and had to leave after 20 mins and I was weaving as I walked out, I was so sick. I went to a talk in a library and started feeling sick. Another woman told me she was feeling sick too. I looked up and saw there was a huge wi-fi router above our heads. After about 10 mins after we moved away, we started feeling better. There was a coffee shop about 20 of us met at, and 5 of us would get sick because the router was running such high wi-fi frequency. It's very sad and depressing for me to not be able to go to the senior center to play cards or hear talks and I often can't go to card games. I can't take a bus, train or airplane trip with everyone's cell phones and the RF on the vehicles. Can’t ride in friend’s EV cars and so I haven’t been able to take a trip for 15 years. My life is very limited now. I can no longer work in offices and am in financial hardship because there are few places I can work because most require being near wi-fi equipment. I do some caregiving, but I often feel sick if I have to work close to a router and their phones and computers. It's taken a toll on my finances and physical and emotional well-being.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a patient. I currently have chosen to remove the Smart Meter from my home. I do not use a wireless router. My home is pretty much wifi free. I sleep under an EMF tent/canopy. I do not use a microwave oven. I do not believe that wireless is good for my health. I do not have any specifics to report, but I have made these choices based on my research and to try to preserve my health. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

A nurse practitioner reports disabling sensitivity following workplace wireless deployment, early retirem…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
April 2014, I became very ill. I worked in a hospital and they rolled out electronic charting on a Monday before Easter. The roll out included dozens of wireless computers on wheeled work stations for staff, on every floor of a 10 floor hospital. Tuesday, near the end of the day I noticed a headache starting. Each day, while at work, the headache began with in a couple hours of starting my shift. On Thursday at the end of my shift, the headache was unbearable. I rarely had headaches before in my life. This was a headache that began early in my shift and continued until well into the evening, each day after the wireless device roll out. At the end of the work week, I spent 48 hours in bed with a horrible headache, I was unable to get up, walk a straight line, or eat. I was also nauseated. At the end of the 48 hours, I was well enough to make Easter brunch for about 20 people. After another horrific week of headaches due to work, I took some time off and visited Greenbank WV. Within 48 hours, all my symptoms of difficulty with memory, word finding, movement, and nausea resolved. In fact, after just 10 days in Greenbank, I felt 20 years younger. I never felt that great after a vacation in my life. I spent months being medically tested for several potential causes, all were negative. Eventually I was sent to a specialty Environmental Health Clinic, where I was diagnosed with 'Electrosensitivity'. The medical director explained to me how I can shield myself in the hospital setting in order to be able to continue working. It did help but not enough. The shielding clothing needed to be replaced, because over time it was not sufficiently protecting me to be cognitively able to work. I figured out ways to double layer the clothing for more effectiveness. Sometimes I would notice I was becoming terribly ill before the clothing typically lasted, so I would add another layer of clothing. By the time I decided to retire early, I was wearing 5 layers of shielding material on my body and my head, and replacing it every 8 weeks. I am a nurse practitioner and had the kind of job I would have like to work at until 71 years old. However, there I was at 55, forced to retire for my own health. Disability was never in my vocabulary prior to becoming ill with this form of chronic radiation sickness, called 'electrosensitivity. I can't continue my work as an affiliate assistant professor in the local university's Faculty of Medicine. I can't continue working in any health clinic with wireless devices. I have to be very quick buying groceries etc., because when I am exposed for more than 20 minutes, I can feel sick for weeks after that. I can't travel on public transportation (planes, trains, buses), because they all have wireless routers. I can't even receive health care at a hospital because after 20 minutes, I feel horribly nauseated and have trouble thinking. The hospital has routers on the ceilings every 3-15 feet, and in every patient care room and office. I was once a very social person, who taught many graduate students and post doctoral students. This chronic illness with all the same symptoms of 'acute radiation sickness', has disabled me as a member of modern society. I am most upset at the seemingly unchecked, rampant roll out of wireless features in so many devices. I became ill with just one or two wireless devices and an exposure of 22 years. Many people I have met with electrosensitivity became ill approximately 22 years after their first wireless device exposure. Now people have wireless earphones, wireless watches, wireless utility meters, wireless appliances, cars routers, security cameras, baby monitors; the list is seemingly endless. Most research looks at one device and the amount of exposure from it before it causes cancer in animals. These days, people have an accumulation of multiple wireless devices and no one is measuring that accumulation of radiation before people become horribly sick. There is a threshold of radiation exposure for every person. It may be slightly different for everyone. Eventually, at this rate of exposure for everyone, we will all reach/cross that threshold of exposure, and won't be able to work, think, move properly, and have neuroendocrine disorders, or maybe even develop cancer like some of the laboratory animals did (NTP 2018, Rammazini 2018). The world health organization classified wireless technology as a 2B carcinogen in 2011. I don't want more humans to feel as sick as I do in the modern world. Unfortunately, "FEELING IS BELIEVING". When that threshold is crossed, there is no going back to wellness with wireless devices.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Three years ago, I discovered I could feel a pressure between my eyes, and sometimes in my chest, that I grew to understand as wavelengths when I walked past cell towers located on or near the crosswalks. Over the course of a year I noticed that being on a cell phone or computer would cause me to sweat and produce micro tremors that became debilitating. Since then I have undergone much treatment to improve my health. However, I continue to feel cell towers, cell phones, and Wi-Fi, making it challenging to navigate the world on a daily basis. I am able to last longer, but still experience negative affects from cell, phone Wi-Fi and cell tower exposure.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS's request for information on EMF's and RF. I am responding from a perspective as a healthcare professional, parent, and as a concerned citizen. I am making this comment to HHS to tell how the EMFs and RF have affected me and others. I have been affected by the EMFs on planes. As I had a 4-hour flight, that had a TV screen on the back of every seat on the plane. The EMFs caused me to get very anxious, and nervous, my body had like a tingling though my whole body, and I could not sleep at all. The next flight was a smaller plane which had no TV screens, and I was able to sleep and had no symptoms. This was no coincidence as it happened again on the return flight after having a relaxing vacation. The bigger plane had the screens and same symptoms appeared, and on the smaller plane, it had no TV screens and I had no problems. this affected me for weeks after the plane trip. I also feel this way when I am around Wi-Fi too long. Other friends and family have had the same experience and getting nervous and anxious for days after. This is a disruption to our brain and nervous system for the bad. We must cut down on the power this type of radiation as all radiation has serious health issues, which, can cause brain cancer and tumors, science has already shown this. The agencies must address this and protect the public from this onslaught against our health and sanity

An educator reports headaches and exhaustion after school wireless deployment and perceived student and s…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of an educator. I vividly remember when our school building installed wireless routers throughout the building. This is the time where I began to get headaches and a heavy head feeling. I would feel overly stressed, and my nervous system would feel revved up. When we reached a one-to-one computer program, where every staff member and every child in the building had a device, these feelings became worse. In a building with over 1,300 students and over 200 staff all with devices, the EMF radiation was saturating. As a consequence, I began to feel adrenal burnout. It wasn't until I left the building entirely with another career, did I realize the debilitating effect it had on my body, thinking and energy. It was my experience that as children spent more time on devices in school, their attention spans seemed to decrease. Not to mention, staff attendance began to steadily decline. Teachers seemed less resilient and more frustrated. There's absolutely no doubt that the impact of invisible wireless technologies and radiation exposure was being felt by both students and staff. Lastly, I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a parent, and a concerned member of the public. Wireless radiation is affecting my family. Since we were forced (without an option to opt-out) to get a VEPO smart water meter, we have all had strange symptoms ranging from ear ringing, to headaches, increased anxiety, joint pains, digestive issues and one of my children has started getting nose bleeds. PLEASE always have an opt-out option to smart meters IN OUR HOMES! And they should not cost more. I was able to opt-out for electric and gas, but I have to pay $134 and then more fees every month! Also, please have companies like Spectrum make routers that don’t give off such wide signals. Why do I have to see all of my neighbors wifi? The number of cell towers going up in Albany is astounding. We are being bombarded and we need it to stop! I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY RISKS, simply look at PubMed at the thousands of published studies. Really, what are you doing “looking into this?” The results are already here and they are terrible!! How many people do I now know that have cancer in the last year since all of these towers have gone up? Not to mention the mental health issues. While this may not be a direct cause, it is a negative contributor to human health and amplifying all negative health issues. Sincerley, Bridgit

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Cell phone radiation can actually kill me. I suffer from severe myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME) and environmental sensitivities (which includes electrosensitivity). EMFs and RF can put me in a state of being bedbound in excruciating pain, with no energy or strength to attend to the activities of daily living, leaving me in survival mode. They are one of the causes of post-exertional malaise, a cardinal symptom of ME. I got initially sick because of mold and the literature in environmental medicine is starting to link electrosensitivity secondary to mold exposure. Being away from every environmental trigger is the only way for my health not to worsen. Everything is wired at my place; I don't have Wi-Fi, a smart meter, cell phone service, or anything like that, and I generally have to be 2km away from a cell tower to avoid experiencing symptoms of electromagnetic hypersensitivity. My health sanctuary is vital to me and is the only solution to prevent my health from deteriorating.

The commenter describes extensive symptoms beginning after a smart-meter installation, loss of a consulta…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am now in my 70’s and have been adversely affected by RF radiation since 2009, when a transmitting "smart" meter was installed on my home. My heart was racing, I was unable to think or sleep, was labile and exhausted. I was soon affected by phone towers as much as a kilometer away, as well as by cellphones. Symptoms included insomnia, tinnitus, anxiety, digestive and circulatory problems, fatigue, poor memory, inability to think and make decisions. I could not stand in queues due to others with cellphones, and could not be in buildings with wifi after that started. I had to give up my consultancy career in 2011, due to being unable to be in so many environments. I was affected by fluorescent and LED lightbulbs and obviously unable to use a cell phone myself. I also became affected by lower frequency radiation, from circuitry in the walls at home. I used to travel frequently but now was, and am, unable to use any form of public transport or sleep in any venues with wifi. So I am unable to return to the country of my birth, where my family of origin live. I am unable to wait in waiting rooms, where others are on their phones; am unable to have Xrays, MRIs or CAT scans due to how I might be affected by the radiation; and do not know what would happen if I was ill and had to go to a hospital. Receiving no help from doctors who do not understand this issue, I spent thousands of dollars trying to help myself survive and recover: gadgets, shielding, therapies, blood tests, vitamins… My relationships were affected as many friends could not understand or be bothered with my inability to go places and do things. I see my own family less often than I would have as I had to move away from suburbia. My life has been quite isolated as I cannot join in the groups I used to participate in - learning, teaching, sharing, exercising. Instead I spend much time at home on my hardwired computer. Physically I am lately affected by extreme fatigue for days after exposure, rather than being aware of radiation at the time, as used to be the case. So this technology has in a sense made me an outcast, anxious about going places, unable to join in or contribute as I used to. It has changed my life to a very limited one (in Australia).

The commenter describes dizziness and cognitive difficulties near wireless sources, reporting loss of a r…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
In 2010 I became intolerant to Wi-Fi signals at home and at work. It started with dizziness in my own kitchen. Then I found that I could no longer enter my office downtown because it felt like my head was in a vice. My office was located under several wi-fi towers. When I did persevere and go into my office I could no longer remember how to use the photocopier or sort papers. I could no longer do the duties I was used to doing. I finally had to leave my profession, as a realtor, that I had been doing for 25 years. After hiring a person trained in detecting radiation levels I found that my townhome had huge levels of wi-fi radiating into my home from my neighbor. At this time I purchased a proper meter so that I could measure this type of radiation and try to keep myself as safe as possible inside and out. I was forced to leave my home and rent a home in the country for several months while I educated myself and found out how to protect myself. After figuring this out I was able to shield my home and return to it. At this point in time my body was very weak and it took me about a year to get back some of the strength that I previously had. I had to also shield my body when going outside as there were a lot of signals. I have never recovered 100% and can not take part in life as "normal" because "normal" has changed and we now live in a microwave oven.
