The commenter reports sleep and cognitive problems after nearby installations and requests consideration …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a concerned citizen and health researcher/coach. As a homeowner in Carlsbad...I was subjected to increased radiation exposure from from the installations that took place at Calaveras park during 2020-2021 with not public notice or input. My professional EMF meter confirmed that what was coming in through my window as excessive and greatly effecting my nervous system. This disruption in my sleep was profound and caused many issues for me...disturbing my daily work like....such as brain fog, irritability and flu like symptoms that have been proven to be associated with EMF exposure. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

I am writing as a parent. My son had a tic disorder for about ten years. It resolved completely when Wifi was eliminated from his home and school environments. He still gets headaches from screens, but no tics. Previous dietary and lifestyle changes were beneficial in other ways but did not resolve the tics.

The commenter reports tinnitus and mold-related illness following nearby tower installation and requests …

I have tinnitus that started the same month that 5G cell towers went up in our area in 2021. I have lived with this ringing ever since. Mold also started growing in our home since the towers went up. I have lived here over 15 years and have never had a mold problem. Since 2021, areas of mold growth have shown up and in 2022 I was diagnosed with a mold illness, which caused multiple symptoms and a trip to the ER. Please study the safety of these towers and remove them from residential and school areas. This radiation should not be raining down on where people live and where children sit at school. Thank you.

As a retired lawyer and energy practitioner, I vehemently oppose the concept of having EMFs, RF and Wireless transmission every where we turn. The human body is unable to handle the impact of being continually bombarded with electromagnetic frequencies that are not in sync with our physiology. To have towers installed near homes and businesses, especially schools, is playing havoc on our bodies. I have seen and read the studies that demonstrate the impact these frequencies have on the brain, especially upon children. It is devastating to health. I have purchased lead covers for our phones to try to help protect us from EMFs continually emitted from them. I have argued with power companies not to install smart meters on my homes and do not use any of the smart electronics for appliances. The impact on human health is so profound, that when there is an opportunity to reduce the impact on humans, every avenue should be taken to protect our health. Our country is already staggering from the impact of all the pharmaceuticals that are being ingested, so please take action to help sustain our civilization in a mindful way.

My sons and daughter-s-in-law use wi-fi to entertain their children and to interfere with any possibility of dinner conversation or developing dinner manner and etiquette. They constantly llow the children to use headphones. I began experiencing tinitus after the installation of an AT&T tower near my apartmnt building.

Every time chemtrails are sprayed, myself and friends I've talked to have less energy, cough more, get sick with flu symptoms, sleep lousy at night, have headaches, lose days from work, etc. even soil, water and garden damage has happened from toxic air issues. I've had my soil analyzed for the last few years. WHEN IS SOMETHING GOING TO BE ADDRESSED to RID these perfect day disruptors? Then top that off with crop spraying. What a beautiful mess. Frequency disruption 101.

Anybody who's been around the block understands that EMS are not healthy. ADD, OCD, OTHER PSYCHOLOGICAL AND MENTAL CONDITIONS AS WELL AS CANCER HAVE ALL INCREASED DRAMATICALLY SINCE WE STARTED EMITTING ANY KIND OF WAVES INTO THE ATMOSPHERE. AND THE STRONGER THE WORST. AT A MINIMUM KEEP CELL PHONE TOWERS AWAY FROM SCHOOLS AND HIGHLY POPULATED AREAS PLEASE!

I am a resident of Hurricane, Washington County, Utah, diagnosed with electromagnetic radiation (EMR) syndrome / electromagnetic hypersensitivity. I ask HHS to treat wireless infrastructure and smart utility meters as a public-health issue, not only an FCC engineering issue.I use a landline and wired Ethernet and have shielded my home, yet I remain isolated. Symptoms include loss of balance, headaches, chest pain, anemia, elevated blood sugar, hypotension, increased heart rate, insomnia, worsening autoimmune problems, and repeated infections. Outdoor walking and medical visits are difficult. Hospitals I have used offer no low-EMF accommodations.I paid $228 plus $22 a month to opt out of the electric smart meter. That meter produced average wiring interference above 1,650 mV; an analog meter later measured about 20 mV, but I was charged $380 and $48 a month. The water district refused a medical opt-out. Neighboring meters and Wi-Fi reach my property.A cell tower was placed next to my home on Water Conservancy District land without notice or environmental review, then expanded to additional antennas and 5G. After activation in 2013, cell service fell from about four bars to none or one. The FCC did not investigate. Copper landline service is no longer maintained and is unusable.A visitor’s pacemaker failed on our tennis court but worked in our shielded home. My husband’s Inspire implant did not work at St. George Regional Hospital. Neighbors have reported cancers, heart attacks, and other illnesses they associate with the tower or meters. I do not claim proven causation; I ask HHS to investigate. Please support: updated non-ionizing exposure limits; independent pre- and post-market health testing; non-punitive analog/noncommunicating meters, including water; notice and health review before tower siting or 5G upgrades; wired phone and internet options; and low-EMF clinical accommodations.Rosemarie Russell, 854 W 3390 S, Hurricane, UT 84737

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from my own experience. I chose to write as wireless radiation has been affecting me since a SMART meter was attached to my house in 2015 without my explicit consent. We mitigated the best we could after I began suffering from severe headaches and heart palpitations. Both prevented me from getting restorative and rejuvenating sleep. In addition, I began noticing similar symptoms when using my cell phone and when using Wifi. The symptoms only got worse with the introduction of 5G. Again, we have done the best to mitigate and rely on Ethernet cables over using Wifi at home. It is now so bad that I wear protective clothing which doesn't seem to do much. I limit my time on the computer and rely on my landline phone when at home. It is proving difficult for me to fully enjoy my life without fear of being bombarded when out in public, eating at a restaurant, going to a movie theater, taking the bus, flying in a plane. I often feel trapped in my house.
