I have chronic headaches and feel fatigued all the time. Please regulate the cell towers- placement, strength, etc… Please keep them away from our homes and schools!

I am highly sensitive to EMFs and wireless radiation and have known it for years. It got progressively worse when 5G towers took over Houston during Covid lockdowns and beyond. I have been told by several natural doctors that they have seen a strong correlation between mold illness and EMFs with their patients, and I happened to have both of these conditions. My hands burn when I’m on my phone for more than 5 minutes and they turn red and get white splotches and have a burning sensation. They also look wrinkled much more than you would expect for a woman in her 30s. I also feel very fatigued if I am on my phone more than 30 minutes a day. Please investigate this and start banning EMFs and all related exposures! This is causing chronic illness across our great nation.

In May, 2023 the 5G tower turned on across the street from my Miami, FL townhouse. I know because I use a RF-Elec-Mag trimeter. Within 24 hours terrible health symptoms ruined my excellent health status. My flat stomach exploded into the appearance of pregnancy, and has not receded for three years. My dormant low back injury exploded into a painful status, disabling me to this day. Neurological and hormonal imbalances started manifesting in the following months.

I am writing regarding the FCC’s response to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals’ remand concerning its decades-old radiofrequency (RF) radiation exposure guidelines. The Court directed the FCC to provide a reasoned explanation for its determination that its guidelines adequately protect humans against harmful effects of RF radiation unrelated to cancer. Specifically, the court required the FCC to address the impacts of RF radiation on children, the health implications of long-term exposure, the ubiquity of wireless devices and technological developments, impacts on the environment, and the adequacy of the FCC’s testing procedures for cell phones and other portable devices. The FCC should fully consider evidence and real-world experiences concerning the health and environmental impacts of wireless radiation, including non-cancer health effects, impacts on children, long-term and cumulative exposure, cancer, and impacts on wildlife and the environment. The FCC is not a health agency and does not have expertise in medicine, biology or public health. Yet, the agency continues to assert authority over RF exposure standards and is preparing to reach conclusions about whether its existing guidelines adequately protect the public. I urge the FCC to recognize the critical role of federal health agencies, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and to rely on appropriate health and biological expertise when addressing the issues identified by the court. This issue matters to me personally because: I am one of the approximately 20%+ people who can hear Rf radiation being put out by cell phones, cell towers, Wi-Fi, smart meters, 5G, etc. Both the US Navy and Army have verified the fact that people can actually hear the buzzing of Rf radiation. My neighbor is a disabled Navy veteran due to his exposure to Rf radiation so this is NO MINOR issue. The buzzing of Rf radiation is not a benign sound. Rather it is a discordant sound in much the same way as nails crossing over a blackboard would be. However, each source, i.e. smart meters, cell towers, 5g, etc. all produce a different frequency and hence, a different discordant sounds. This sound is not only painful, but incredibly annoying and is present 24 hours per day. You need to consider that 20%+ of the population is being physically harassed by this discordant sound every single minute of every day. This is a significant part of the population. Because Rf radiation is being expanded all of the time, the pain and annoying sounds are only multiplied in intensity every day. It is not something I can escape as Rf radiation is everywhere. It causes me headaches, incredible piercing pain when smart meters link up, and interrupts my sleep every night. Rf radiation like all radiation is cumulative. Studies in Europe have shown that the closer to Rf radiation producers, they more prevalent the cases of cancer. Rf radiation has been proven to disrupt bees (which are responsible to pollinating the majority of our food) and birds. It has been proven to be dangerous to children, in vitro, the handicapped, and the elderly and is likely to lead to sterility in future generations. The FCC needs to give meaningful consideration to the experiences and evidence of the 20% of the population seriously harmed by Rf radiation before it and must fully address each of the issues identified by the court.

To whom it may concern, My name is Cathy Shoro. My husband Jim and I moved from Fountain Hills Arizona to Lyman S. Carolina four years ago. I have rheumatoid arthritis which had been well controlled for the twenty years that we lived in Arizona. We now live within about a half mile of two 5G towers. The height of these towers and other surrounding towers has been significantly raised about a year ago). Within a few months of moving here, I began to experience lower spine pain which I had never experience before and I'm having general joint discomfort which I hadn't had in twenty years. My arthritis medication hasn't changed. Regarding my cell phone, I never hold it up to my head because when I do, I experience extreme agitation, dizziness and sometimes tingling in the hand that holds the phone. I always set it down and put in on speaker. I'm also very concerned about my smart meter which is situated not far from our bedroom. We would like to swap out our smart meter for an analog meter but Duke Energy makes that nearly impossible and gives us the runaround on the phone and wants us to be diagnosed by a doctor with electromagnetic sensitivity before they would "deactivate" our smart meter (which I don't believe to be reliable). We would like to have studies done on the health dangers of cell towers, cell phones, WIFI and smart meters and to have our government come up with safer alternatives and/ or mitigation measures which should be made available to the public at a low cost and paid for by the companies/ entities which have imposed these dangerous technologies upon us. For heavens sake stop these cell towers blasting us with electromagnetic radiation. …. NOW! I am feeling so sick from all this radiation. Where I live there were no towers when I moved here. Now there are 37 of them plus 2 transmission lines within 2 miles of my home. My smart appliances are also blasting me and my router and cell phone too. I got a meter to measure the electromagnetic radiation and the electric voltage and the readings were off the charts!! I am woosy, can’t think straight, tipsy like I am drunk when I walk. I have a Headache, have had hearing loss in one ear. And a sense that sound is very muffled and my head is dulled. Once I had a strange burned looking area on the side of my face where my hearing loss occurred and then it turned into a peculiar rash that spread down my shoulder and took weeks to go away. I have been a very healthy and robust female but now everything has changed. I have the sense that I am being cooked!! The government must protect us from all this. We are All endangered as I see it. When I travel those towers are everywhere!! Then up in the sky these planes dropping chemicals down on us too, chem trails crisscrossing above my head, polluting our air, our crops, poisoning our water, absorbed from our skin, and damaging our lungs when we breathe it all in. The Muslims must be deported too or we will be just like the UK! And they have been taken over!!! Are we going to tolerate this. Where are the hero’s to put a stop to the harm being done? Is little Nick Shirley the only patriot that is actually working to correct these wrongs? The big cell tower blasting radiation by my children’s school is blasting our kids as they learn and causing serious side effects in them. The vaccines they are forced to have are giving them all serious conditions as well. Why is all this harm being done?? Is this progress that is going to kill us all??? DO SOMETHING to stop this insanity! PLEASE!!!

Hello, and thank you for the opportunity to explain how the EMF's have practically ruined my daily life. I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. My husband and I are senior citizens that had to move from our home as we were being pulverized with radiation from the wi-fi, 5G Towers, Antennas, Smart meters, Smart phones, smart TV's, all the SMART technology that is radiating all around us 24 hours a day, We had 600+ 5G towers and Antennas within a 3 mile radius of our home before we moved. I was so sick. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat, the ringing in my ears was so loud I couldn't think practically. I was miserable. We moved to our new home and now have less than 100 5G and Antennas within a 3 mile radius of our new home. Although we are still being radiated I am able to sleep and he ringing in my ears is definitely less. Please stop all this madness with letting corporations make all the money in the world without any consideration for the health of people, animals, and plant life. Last year I moved back into my childhood home, that I had spent half my life in, that had recently been upgraded with a smart meter hung on the outside wall where my master bedroom and kids beds met. I am a sensitive person who suffers from migraine disease and cannot tolerate Florescent lights or LED lights that flash because it triggers aura and visual distortion for me much like someone with epilepsy. I had been almost symptom free with my condition for 20 years after taking precautions in my old homes, but after moving into this one again, was experiencing extreme insomnia, constant ringing in my ears, and migraines with accompanying aura. I felt very anxious and started wanting to be out of my house as often as possible. I started doing research on supplements and treatments and came across a couple forums where people were experiencing all the exact same symptoms, caused by Wifi from their smart meters. I began contacting my power company to try and see if I could change my electric meter back to the old analog style that had existed through my childhood. They told me over and over that they could do nothing, and they they had "destroyed" all the old style ones after upgrading, and they even if I was to find one used I would not be able to use it with their upgraded system. I found several people in my area that still has a non wifi analog meter that had been grandfathered in and contacted my power company again. Meanwhile I bought an EMF tester and measured our bedrooms, all were within dangerous levels of RFs and EMFs, so I moved my entire family out of the bedrooms to the farthest area of my home and all slept together in that room to see if we experienced less symptoms, and we did. Eventually I convinced the power company to switch our meter to a Non RF, non smart meter, that emits much less EMF and WIFI signal. Shortly after that we ended up building a new little home on the same property where we chose to place the electric meter 45 feet from the house on a external pole. After changes to all the meters, I have been sleeping, no insomnia, less anxiety and zero ringing in my ears, we also choose to turn off our WIFi signals at night inside our home. I strongly believe that wireless radiation is very harmful and felt awful while trying to live in that situation. I am blessed to have had the option to change things in a rural area to accommodate my needs, I would not have been able to escape in a city where there was towers and smart meters on every home. Please consider the harmful effects that wifi signals have on humans and wildlife and work to place towers away from communities and lower signals, or hard wire, so that they are not outside of safe limits of exposure causing harm to human and animal health. I have also experienced a lump in my breast on the right side where I hold my phone on my chest to look at it at night, and I do not believe that is a coincidence.

I appreciate the Department's initiative to re-examine the outmoded 1996 federal safety guidelines, which fail to protect local communities, vulnerable populations, and sensitive ecosystems [Environmental Health Trust v. FCC, HHS Press Office]. I am writing as an individual citizen directly impacted by these outdated regulations. In Kiawah Island, South Carolina, our local government is currently considering zoning changes to enable the construction of a 150-foot cellular monopole at the foot of my street. This massive infrastructure is proposed for the private iconic Ocean Course property, positioned adjacent to Ocean Park homes, neighborhood families, and a critical-habitat area for endangered and migratory birds and other wildlife. My community is a stark example of why HHS must intervene and provide updated, scientifically sound health guidance to the FCC for the following critical reasons: • Human Health and Vulnerable Populations: The proposed tower would stand next to Ocean Park residents, including children, and employees and guests of the Ocean Course. The current FCC human exposure limits rely solely on thermal tissue heating and do not account for the biological risks of long-term, chronic RF exposure to children's developing nervous systems [Environmental Health Trust v. FCC, HHS Press Office]. HHS must establish biology-based human exposure limits to protect these residential populations [HHS Press Office]. • Environmental and Wildlife Vulnerability: Kiawah Island has maintained a 50-year commitment to disciplined development and responsible stewardship of nature. The beach adjacent to the tower sit is a designated critical habitat area providing sanctuary for endangered species an active migratory bird flight path cuts directly through the proposed tower. As highlighted by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit in Environmental Health Trust v. FCC (2021), federal agencies have completely failed to address the environmental and wildlife impacts of wireless radiation [Environmental Health Trust v. FCC]. HHS must bridge this research gap to safeguard sensitive ecosystems from constant RF emissions [Environmental Health Trust v. FCC, HHS Press Office]. • Need for Less Intrusive, Modern Solutions: The reliance on monolithic, high-emission towers is a byproduct of a regulatory framework that has not adapted to modern alternatives. Communities like Kiawah deserve advanced telecommunications solutions that achieve connectivity while preserving natural character, safety, and responsible development. We are asking the Town of Kiawah to develop a scientifically reviewed Island-wide communication plan that protects the community’s residents, birds and sea turtles. Now that the FDA has removed outdated safety assertions from its public guidance, I urge HHS to fast-track a comprehensive, independent risk assessment. I am responding from the perspective of a [patient, parent, family member, caregiver, healthcare professional, researcher, advocate, concerned member of the public, or other]. In 2021, a 5G antennae was installed on the roof of my apartment building. I started to hear a high-pitched tone that never stopped. It was especially noticeable when it was most quiet, when there were no background noises around like traffic, conversations, or the tv. I had to play music at night to drown out the tone to go to sleep. It stopped when I moved out of that building, but comes back when I'm around those towers and remains most noticeable at night. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.
