ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding for the future health of myself and my children. Ever since 5G wireless radiation has become the norm, I have experienced tinnitus and headaches. I live within a mile of a cell tower and I have become very sensitive in my hands all the way up to my elbows when holding a cell phone. I believe that HHS should be investigating the short and long term effects of EMF’s, RF radiation and Wireless Radiation exposure. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a parent of a disabled child and a concerned member of the public. I first became aware of the issues with wireless radiation when my son, who has brain damage from a vaccine injury just as he turned one, began walking around holding his ears and complaining about a buzz. This coincided with the people starting to use wifi in our apartment complex. I began to look into this and came across the studies by Dietrich Klinghardt MD, Ph.D. He found that wireless radiation has serious adverse affects on individuals, some more than others, or some manifest or experience symptoms more than others. In particular he was concerned about the developing fetus, infants and small children with their more permeable and still developing brains being exposed to wifi in the home, through their parents cell phone use, in cribs with the baby monitors, etc. He felt it could be a cause of autism and other neurodevelopmental problems. As with the vaccine industry who for decades has failed to conduct responsible safety and efficacy studies, the telecommunications industry is similarly culpable. They are exposing us to higher and higher levels of EMFs, without the studies that would indicate if these levels are safe. I was so concerned about my son with the wifi situation rising in my society, that I took him out of school, age 9, and we moved to the cloud forest of Costa Rica and lived off the grid for four years. This was extremely beneficial to both of us. He became more verbal. We both slept so much better, and our stress level reduced significantly. We are now back in the country. I am a university English professor, and needed to return or lose my job. When we returned, we rented a small basement studio apartment of a household who agreed to use corded connections for their devices. However, I came home one day to discover that a smart meter had been installed on the house, 5 yards from my son's bed! From that moment I realized that I had to purchase our own small home so that I could control the situation better. We were able to buy a small house in our community. It had already installed a smart meter, however. I threatened legal action against the electric company, sent letters verifying the dangers of the smart meter, to our health, as well as to our house, since the lack of surge protection could result in the house being burned down. I told them my son's disability required them to instead give us an analog meter. But they refused. The smart meter was attached to the garage, on the other side of the house from the bedrooms, but still I feel the affects of this meter. I have serious problems settling down for a restful night's sleep. It is the only issue with our house, since I have internet that uses a corded connection to the router. We have no wifi. I have no cell phone. We have a land line phone. I have a gauss meter. When I moved in, aside from the repeated and destabilizing pulsing from the exasperating smart meter, my house readings were quite good, generally in the green range. However, over the past seven years, since buying our house, the readings are more in the yellow range. I attribute this to the ever increasing amount of EMFs in our environment. EMFHelpCenter.com is a good site for information and strategies for how to legally insist on the Electric Company replacing the smart meter with an analog meter. I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a concerned citizen and health researcher/coach. As a homeowner in Carlsbad...I was subjected to increased radiation exposure from from the installations that took place at Calaveras park during 2020-2021 with not public notice or input. My professional EMF meter confirmed that what was coming in through my window as excessive and greatly effecting my nervous system. This disruption in my sleep was profound and caused many issues for me...disturbing my daily work like....such as brain fog, irritability and flu like symptoms that have been proven to be associated with EMF exposure. ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Wireless radiation and it's effects is something that has been on my mind since the introduction of 5G. As a parent and concerned citizen, I do not believe enough research was conducted before the US changed to 5G towers. It seems to me that since that happened, there has been more and more people affected by cancer today than in any other time in history. I would really like to see more research done in this field. This is why I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. I am grateful for and very much support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation! Please continue to study this topic - it's far from settled, and I believe that currently we humans are like guinea pigs in many ways regarding what this exposure may be doing to our bodies, minds and general health. It is wise to research the ramifications - and I believe the public deserves to know. I can't be sure of how it's affecting me exactly, but I notice that it seems to be affecting me more than others in the family - perhaps there are some that are more vulnerable to it's effects than others. But it would seem that all babies (I"m a Certified Health and Pregnancy Coach) particularly, as well as young children, are in a more vulnerable position as they are still developing their immature nervous system and brain. We need to know for our schools as well, as some educational systems are exposing our kids to an undue burden of this kind of radiation with so many electronics - it's deeply concerning! Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard! Please know how many of us there are out there who greatly appreciate HHS's attempt to research so many areas under Sec. Kennedy that they haven't had the courage to do in the past -- THANK YOU!

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am writing as a parent. My son had a tic disorder for about ten years. It resolved completely when Wifi was eliminated from his home and school environments. He still gets headaches from screens, but no tics. Previous dietary and lifestyle changes were beneficial in other ways but did not resolve the tics.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a working Mother. Wireless radiation has affected my family when chosing daycare and schooling options for my children. ou, your child, your family, or someone you care about. The affordable daycare and public school by me are sandwiched between a new 5G tower. Long term exposure and health effects were a stong concern for developing brains. As a result my family now has to pay more for a different daycare a school that does not have towers next to them. I support people affected by wireless radiation including parents who do not get a say before a tower is installed at or near a school. I believe HHS should address this issue because all parents should have a say regarding the exposure to their children in schools and daycares. The commenter reports tinnitus and mold-related illness following nearby tower installation and requests …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I have tinnitus that started the same month that 5G cell towers went up in our area in 2021. I have lived with this ringing ever since. Mold also started growing in our home since the towers went up. I have lived here over 15 years and have never had a mold problem. Since 2021, areas of mold growth have shown up and in 2022 I was diagnosed with a mold illness, which caused multiple symptoms and a trip to the ER. Please study the safety of these towers and remove them from residential and school areas. This radiation should not be raining down on where people live and where children sit at school. Thank you.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
As a retired lawyer and energy practitioner, I vehemently oppose the concept of having EMFs, RF and Wireless transmission every where we turn. The human body is unable to handle the impact of being continually bombarded with electromagnetic frequencies that are not in sync with our physiology. To have towers installed near homes and businesses, especially schools, is playing havoc on our bodies. I have seen and read the studies that demonstrate the impact these frequencies have on the brain, especially upon children. It is devastating to health. I have purchased lead covers for our phones to try to help protect us from EMFs continually emitted from them. I have argued with power companies not to install smart meters on my homes and do not use any of the smart electronics for appliances. The impact on human health is so profound, that when there is an opportunity to reduce the impact on humans, every avenue should be taken to protect our health. Our country is already staggering from the impact of all the pharmaceuticals that are being ingested, so please take action to help sustain our civilization in a mindful way.
