I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a patient and concerned member of the public. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. This letter is my personal experience of how the radio-frequency (RF) radiation (also known as wireless radiation) has effected my life and health in an extremely dreadful way. My name is Rita Jann Geeslin. I was born Texas in 1949. I am a citizen of the United States as were all my relations. My health began to seriously deteriorate in 2016 with the roll out of 4G and the activation of all the new cell phone towers to support 4G. The first huge set back in my health came on very quickly when 4G was implemented. It hit me immediately and harshly. I began to have extreme pain and debilitating fatigue. I would experience such deep pain it felt I had been lined up in front of a firing squad and riddled with bullets. I would fall down to my hands and knees and could not get back up. And then the pain became so severe I could not walk. I could not sleep, I had headaches and nausea, anxiety and began having multiple skin cancers (various Basal cell carcinoma: 2 of them had to be surgical removed, one of which has now come back, various Squamous cell carcinoma and one Melanoma which was surgically removed). I was not able to go anywhere without extreme hardship. One evening when driving home, I was screaming in pain, feeling that my brain was exploding. I saw there was a new cell tower that had been installed. That was when I knew that it was all the new radioactivity frequencies that were causing my debilitation. What came out of my mouth with those screams was I have to get out of here. I went to stay at a house in Tucson, Arizona. I had always really liked Tucson and had always felt really good there, feeling well, strong and enthusiastic. But, that was no longer the case. My neighbors wifi was so strong that I could not sleep with so much pain. One day while stopped at a traffic light. I felt a sharp, burning/shearing pain, that felt like a red hot cork screw boring its way between my ribs into my body. I was screaming in pain. I looked out the window to see what was hitting me. There was the cell phone tower. I could not control the pain or the screaming. I knew I would have to move where there was no RF in order to have any kind of quality of life left. I bought a RF detection meter and started to look around to find a place would be where I would be safe from RF. My agent suggested I rent a cabin in the White Mountains outside of Greer, Arizona. where I could turn off all the wifi and live in an RF free zone. I did that and after a few days I started feeling better and was able to take walks in the woods. I was free of all pain and able to get a good night’s sleep. I was filled with joy once again. When my rental time was finished at that cabin, I returned home to my place in Sedona. All the pain, fatigue, inability to sleep returned. I was again in a debilitated state. To test out the validity of my experience, I rented another place in the White Mountains. I again turned off all RF. Again, all the pain and extreme debilitation left me and I was able to hike in the mountains. I knew I would need to sell my home in Sedona that I loved so dearly. I knew I would need to find somewhere to live that was remote, where the neighbors where far enough away that their wifi would not effect me. After a long search, I found a place where I thought the neighbors’ wifi was far enough away and the closest cell towers were 13 miles away. I bought what is called shielding material and sewed clothing to wear when going to town. This material is woven with metal. It is a suit of armor I put on to go anywhere to protect myself from more harm. I now must wear 3 layers of this shielding material anytime I get in the car (I can only drive in cars older than 2016 because anything newer has too much EMR (electro magnetic radiation) for me to be in. Most of the time I return home feeling very sick with headache, nausea and pain. I now do not venture out of my yard unless absolutely necessary. All of my neighbors have boosted up their wifi and security to the point I receive way much of their wireless radiation around my property. I have no quality to life left and that is all because of this wireless radiation and the extreme health issues it has and is causing me. I read the statistic that 10% of the world’s population know they have this EMR (electro-magnetic-radiation) Syndrome. There are approximately 8.3 billion people on planet earth, that is 830,000,000 people who know they are adversely effected by EMR. That is almost 1 billion people that know they are being harmed by wireless radiation.
