ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
It's is 100 percent killing me. Migraines, muscle aches, brain fog, ringing in the ears, sleep problems. As they raise the frequency my symptoms get worse. I am barely surviving in a 5g environment. 6G will kill me in 2030.

Reports perceived sensitivity, fatigue, brain fog and headaches in wireless environments, while acknowled…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Question 2 — Perspective I am responding as an individual consumer with personal experience that I believe may be relevant to the evaluation of RF/EMF exposure and potential health effects. Question 3 — Personal experience I have experienced what I perceive to be sensitivity to RF/wireless environments, particularly Wi-Fi and environments with multiple wireless devices. My experience has been that prolonged exposure to Wi-Fi or other wireless environments is sometimes followed by significant fatigue and brain fog. In some situations, I notice symptoms after approximately two hours of exposure. I have also noticed more immediate symptoms in certain higher-wireless environments. For example, when riding inside a Tesla vehicle, I have experienced a headache after approximately 15 minutes. I have also experienced headaches when sitting relatively close to an active Wi-Fi access point. In an office environment with numerous wireless and electronic devices, I have sometimes experienced substantial fatigue and brain fog toward the end of the workday. I have noticed that these experiences are less pronounced when I can reduce my exposure to wireless sources. I recognize that these observations are personal experiences and do not, by themselves, establish that RF/EMF exposure caused the symptoms. Other factors could potentially contribute to fatigue, headaches, or cognitive symptoms. However, the recurring relationship I have personally observed between particular wireless environments and the onset of symptoms is significant enough to me that I believe it warrants further scientific investigation. I believe research should examine not only short-term exposure and average exposure levels, but also the effects of prolonged, repeated, and cumulative exposure in real-world environments. Question 8 — Exposure assessment I believe additional research is needed to determine whether current methods of assessing RF exposure adequately represent real-world individual exposure. A person's exposure can vary substantially depending on distance from the source, duration of exposure, number of wireless sources operating simultaneously, signal strength, modulation characteristics, and whether the individual is in a vehicle, workplace, home, or other enclosed environment. Research should investigate whether measurements based primarily on population averages or compliance testing adequately capture the exposure experienced by individuals who spend many hours in environments containing multiple wireless devices. Question 9 — Information disclosed to consumers Consumers should have access to clear and easily understandable information about wireless devices and environments, including operating frequencies, maximum and typical transmitted power, exposure characteristics, recommended separation distances, SAR where applicable, and information about simultaneous or cumulative exposure from multiple wireless sources. Consumers should also be able to make informed choices between wired and wireless connectivity where practical. For example, information about Wi-Fi access points, wireless-enabled appliances, smart-home devices, and other RF-emitting equipment would help consumers understand their potential exposure and make choices appropriate for their circumstances. Question 13(c) — Wi-Fi I recommend additional research specifically examining Wi-Fi exposure under realistic residential and workplace conditions, including prolonged exposure, proximity to access points, multiple access points operating simultaneously, multiple devices communicating concurrently, and cumulative exposure over many hours. Research should also examine whether individual responses to Wi-Fi exposure vary substantially and whether there are identifiable characteristics of individuals who report symptoms in proximity to wireless sources. Question 16 — Research priorities I believe research priorities should include: 1. Long-term and cumulative RF/EMF exposure rather than only short-duration exposure. 2. Real-world exposure measurement rather than relying solely on laboratory or compliance conditions. 3. Individual variability in reported responses to RF/EMF exposure. 4. Exposure to multiple RF sources simultaneously. 5. The relationship between distance from a wireless source and reported symptoms. 6. The relationship between duration of exposure and reported symptoms. 7. Objective, reproducible methods for studying individuals who report symptoms associated with wireless exposure. 8. Research that can distinguish RF/EMF-related effects from other potential causes of symptoms such as noise, lighting, temperature, stress, sleep deprivation, or other environmental factors.

Reports balance and cognitive difficulties while living near numerous towers and transmission lines. Rais…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am a single woman living in a suburb with 37 cell towers within a 2 mile radius of my home. In addition, there are two transmission lines, and all of them are blasting me with electromagnetic radiation. 24/7. My phone app tells me that I am in a dangerous area with high levels of harm from the radiation. None of these were here when I moved to my home. In addition, children’s schools have had huge, tall, cell towers constructed right close to the schools, causing harm from radiation to our precious children. I have been having balance issues, foggy thinking, memory problems, and a feeling of dullness in my head. I think it’s criminal that we are being bombarded with this radiation. No one asked us if we wanted these towers blasting us constantly. On top of that, I have to watch the planes, dropping all of their nano particles, heavy metals, poisonous chemicals of all kinds, biological weapons, polluting our water, polluting our crops, falling on our bodies and being inhaled into our lungs. If our government cannot see the harm in all of this, then we citizens need to wake up and do something about it.

Wifi and other EMFs make me feel very sick and if the wifi is on in my car and I drive for more than 2 hours I am sick for days! Once we took the wifi out of our house and stopped using in the car I got better. I can then feel the symptoms when I am on my iPhone too long. My symptoms after each prolonged exposure ( more than a couple hours) are:extreme fatigue, foggy thinking, poor concentration, memory decline, achey muscles, joint stiffness, irritability and even sadness! You need to pay attention to those who are sensitive to EMFs because we are just the first ones showing signs ( like with any other sensitivity).

Reports recurrent hand tingling during phone and wireless-mouse use and improvement after switching to a …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a concerned member of the public who has personally experienced symptoms that I believe may be associated with exposure to wireless devices. For several years, I have experienced a recurring and increasingly concerning problem involving wireless devices, particularly when they are used near my hands. When I use my cell phone for an extended period of time, my right hand begins to develop a pronounced tingling sensation. At times, it becomes difficult and uncomfortable to text, type, or even scroll on the phone. On some occasions, I have needed to wrap a cloth around the phone in order to continue using it. I experience a similar problem with my wireless computer mouse at work. After using it for a period of time, my right hand begins to tingle and becomes uncomfortable enough that I have difficulty using the mouse. I have repeatedly had to disconnect the wireless mouse and switch to a wired mouse in order to continue working. I am actually experiencing this tingling in my right hand while writing this comment. What concerns me most is the recurring pattern. The symptoms occur during prolonged use of wireless devices in close proximity to my hand, and I have found that switching to a wired device allows me to continue using the equipment without the same problem. I recognize that my personal experience does not establish the cause of these symptoms, but I believe the pattern deserves to be taken seriously and investigated. I also work in a school environment, where I regularly see children using wireless technology, including cell phones, tablets, computers, and wireless headphones. This has made me increasingly concerned about the amount of wireless radiation to which children may be exposed throughout their daily lives. In addition to personal devices, people are surrounded by wireless infrastructure, including cell towers and increasingly widespread 5G technology. We are living in an environment of substantially greater and more continuous wireless exposure than previous generations experienced. I have researched my symptoms and found that I am not the only person who reports experiencing unusual sensations or other symptoms associated with wireless-device exposure. While I understand that individual experiences and anecdotal reports are not a substitute for scientific evidence, I believe they should be taken seriously as a reason to conduct further research and investigate unanswered questions. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

Reports severe headaches attributed to EMFs and an episode while traveling between cell towers. Links the…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Hi, I want to comment on how horrible EMFs are for me. I have heavy metal poisoning, just like a large portion of the citizens of the USA. The heavy metals often go into the brain tissue. Thus, whenever I am in the vicinity of a really strong signal of EMFs, it affects my brain and gives me massive headaches, like as if it is frying my brain! Yes, I know that sounds unscientific, but I have read plenty of professionally researched articles that say EMFs damage the brain. For example, the last time my husband and I drove from Western PA over to Rte. 322 and down to Harrisburg, PA, we were passing an area between two cell towers, and I started to cry and scream, holding my head from all of the pain. I told my husband, "That may be the fastest route to drive between visiting friends in Western PA and visiting our daughter, but we are NEVER driving through that region again! That was like being tortured, and my head still hurts, even after we've passed the worst of that area for EMFs."

Argues that 5G towers cause neurological symptoms and environmental damage, alleges a military-surveillan…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
5G antennas and towers are extremely harmful to humans. They disrupt our sleep, cause brain fog, cause body twitching, ear ringing and tinnitus among many other unknown ailments. They also kill trees, plants and grass. They DO NOT improve mobile or WiFi service, they are a military surveillance tool and need to be outlawed immediately.

Reports chronic migraines, seizures, hearing changes and skin concerns. Describes medical investigations …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I had a liver transplant in Jan.2012, from anorexic alcoholism. I had two kids afterwards so I was healthy after my transplant. I always got migraines before transplant but figured it was from my alcoholism. I don't drink anymore but was still getting chronic migraines then in April 2019 I had my first grand Mal seizure while sleeping. It threw me out of bed and I broke my C5 C6 C7, my neck. I have been documenting my migraines since around 2015 because they got really bad when I was pregnant with my daughter but I was normal frequency and not throwing up everyday with my son. I was looking for migraine answers online when I was informed about chemtrails and geoengineering. I have been seeing doctors this entire time trying to figure out the causes, triggers, how to alleviate the pain without pills that were making me worse. I have discovered they always happen after heavy geoengineering days usually before a big frontal system pushes through, and when my neighbors burn coal for heat in the winter and I can't find any oxygen in they air when i'm trying to shovel snow. My seizures only occur in spring, end March beginning of April, my doctors can't explain that either. I get major frequency changes in my hearing, and dog whistle sounds often that don't go away when I move rooms or go outside and no one else in my house hears them. Smells and light trigger my migraines, not sun just artificial lights. I am now waiting to see a dermatologist because I'm getting skin issues, supposedly a genetic issue. I hope this helps.

The commenter reports tinnitus and intermittent dizziness after new utility-pole equipment was installed …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Thank you so much for your continued support of Humanity. In May,2024, Duke Energy installed new poles in our neighborhood. Reason was preparing for hurricane season. No other street had this action taken. Just our small street. On each new pole was a black device NOT on the previous poles. No other street had these devices. Within six weeks of the installation, my ears began to ring. Never experienced this before. The ringing sound changes tone. Changes from ringing to a clicking noise. Then the dizziness started. Not everyday, not consistently. Just every now & then, a “blast” of something affects my balance . Just for seconds. My husband is experiencing the same. I asked myself what had changed ? The answer seemed to be the new poles. I called Duke Energy. Got the run around without any answers. I persisted until I was told the black devices were just the transformers, nothing to see here! Except they don’t look like the other transformers, these are on every pole installation. I think we are part of an experiment by Duke Energy. Now, I can’t prove anything. The ringing in my ears still continues, the moments of dizziness continue . I live in Lake Mary Florida. You may contact me if necessary.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am an individual who hears electricity humming in the walls. When the power goes out, my body immediately relaxes ( despite the inconvenience of no electricity) I sleep better & more deeply with the power off ( even if it’s too warm or too cold) When I am in a public space with lots of WiFi I can feel vertigo, nausea or just exhaustion—- even though I felt fine elsewhere. In particular places with big swathes of fluorescent lighting are issues. ( I don’t shop at some big box stores anymore, due to this) those give me headaches. In general my body has a very inflammatory response to all these EMFs…many of these symptoms go away when I am out in nature, far from WiFi signals & dirty electricity. We have avoided a Smart Meter for now, but our neighbors have them. I can only imagine how much healthier all of us will be when we clean these up. Thank you, Karen Thompson
