I became eltromagnetic hypersensitive in 2007, when a 2G cell tower was erected less than 1000 ft from our trailer in Naturita Co. I had been watering weeds in hopes of growing something in a desert yard, having recently remarried and moving there. Also I had a deck phone held between my ear and left shoulder while patiently listening to my x-sister-in- law try and convince me to invest in a restaurant in Tulya Texas. This went on for over an hour. Next morning when I got up I saw my face and neck in the bathroom mirror that my cheeks were bright red, my skin around my eyes were baggy, and there was a bright red area around my thyroid atea of my neck , and it was growing in heat and intensity,! I realized then the connections and began wondering what was I going to do, because it was getting worse by the minute, and with it, my mind wasn't doing well either! I prayed , I cried to my husband to help. Already I had been treating cancer of the lungs for seven years with alternative natural medicine, and I had an abiding distrust of regular medical services,and then .. I was finally truly healing and so going to the clinic wasn't obvious to me. But I did understand what must have happened,and my inner instinct was to get as far away from the cell tower as possible and fast! I opened the tiny phone book praying, and saw there was a cafe out in The Basin, a huge flat ranch and oil drilling land some many miles south of town. I called it, the manager a woman answered, and I asked her if she might have a cabin to rent. She did! It was often rented to hunters, but this was summer, and so it was a available. I had the money from my divorce, and packed up and went there. My husband brought me food and water for the month it took for this thermal burning to subside!I became friends with that woman, and strange as life sometimes is, now I am one of four Caregivers taking care of her aged father,19 years later! But as that may be, this horrible condition repeated 11 times over the next 9 years, and every time ,I tried to come home and resume life with my husband the thermal burn would come back. This would include my skin debriding from my face and neck, and my brain barely able to function, while I had kept moving to remote locations to recover.my husband had work so he couldn't just be with me. Eventually he found on the Internet that people who have EMH if they have exposed metal in their mouths can suffer extreme from thermal burns from cell towers radiation. We found a dentist who agreed to remove my remaining upper teeth , so as to remove the titanium bridge partial I had for the previous 6 years and replace it with a resin denture.I moved into inadequate housing nearer to town, as slowly I was getting better. I took in a homeless elder abandoned lady by her family who was 91, and got signed up to take care of her under the CDAS Program, because I have certification as a CNA.She lived the last 6 years of her life with me. It took those years to get the metals out of my blood so that I can withstand using a cell phone and being in what we consider normal radiated environments. But it's not OK. I am not a quiter, I know of many people who became homeless because of their sensitivity to microwave radiation! I joined groups to help bring awearness of this scourge,and to get feedback about this issue. I have a reputation in my small town about this and many people are still confused about it. This was like a natural disaster economically for us! One which few recognized! I recognize we are all suffering. Tinnitus, headaches, fibromyalgia, thyroid diseases, kidney failure, rapid aging, just to make sure. 5G is a bio weapon. So please stop it! My town of Nucla is engaged with Virtible Bridge to relocate a contracted 5 G tower after strong opposition to it. Our little phone co. Is considering putting up one too. The combined towne of Naturita, and Nucla 's population is about 1500. We have too much cell coverage already! Other Nations have limited the frequencies, why can't we!Thank you Annie Gibbons

Thank you for finally addressing this critical and profoundly underacknowledged topic. In the modern world, we are routinely exposed to levels of EMFs that are many orders of magnitude higher than the environment in which we evolved (I don't have the numbers before me – if HHS doesn't have these numbers, I strongly encourage you to establish them) – I believe the comparison I've seen was some ridiculous discrepancy on the order of trillions if not higher. That alone is cause for suspicion. Electromagnetism is one of the fundamental forces of known reality; it is inconceivable that we would ratchet up the levels of electromagnetic fields and not cause profound, complex changes to our biosphere and our human bodies. Yet our society's understanding of this topic has remained infuriatingly ignorant, relative to what is known scientifically on the topic (what is not known scientifically, and thus is in urgent need of more study, is also relevant). There has been a willful ignorance, a tendency to shun discussions of this topic as 'tin foil hat conspiracy' stuff. I believe this has been encouraged if not outright orchestrated by the communications and technology industries; EMF and related emissions/pollution are a core externality of their business model (this need not necessarily be so; there are ways to change/harmonize/reduce the EM that comes from technology – this should be pursued and studied and implemented with vigor). Regulation has long been myopically focused on thermal effects from EMF, which do not manifest until intensely high doses; thus, relatively low dose (though still very very high doses) EM emissions have been dismissed, if they do not cause thermal impacts. The scientific literature on this point is robust, and clear: the game is all about the non-thermal effects. Non-thermal effects from EMF/RF/wireless non-ionizing radiation, documented in scientific literature, are diverse, and concerning; they include a far broader array of impacts than I'll be able to recite here. Cancer, yes, but also irritability, anxiety, alterations to cellular calcium channels, depression, sleeplessness. I mention these because I strongly suspect that the sky-high levels of EMF-type emissions we bathe in daily are causal to some degree in the disturbed mental health and general sense of dis-ease in our modern world. People widely report being depressed, being anxious, and we see the impacts in our fractured social ties, polarized social discourse, disintegrating families and communities. The physical health harms of EMFs are highly important, and deserve your priority attention; and so, too, the mental health harms. Thank you for addressing this topic. I am submitting these comments in response to HHS's Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMF's), Radiofrequency (RF), and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding for myself, my father, older sister and my son. Myself: I was sickened by the Electrical (ComEd) Smart Meter in March 2018, caused Heart Palpitations (AFIB), Sleep issues, Agitation, Anxiety like feelings, I connected the dots due to a notice being placed on my front door from the electrical company stating they had just installed the new Smart Meter. I called ComEd and a gentleman in a Hazmat suit uninstalled the meter with in 5 days (for a fee $75 and I pay $22 a month to have it manually read), they have shared after putting back the old Analog Meter, that the Smart Meters are no longer Mandatory in Illinois. Once the the Smart Meter was removed all my symptoms went away. I also uninstalled the Village Smart Water Meter having same issue. I was diagnosed EHS (Electro hypersensitive) in 2019 by my Holistic Doctor, he shared that he has had (15) patients with the same experience once the Smart Meter was placed on their home. I also struggle severely with the newer Apple 4G/5G Cell Phones (10 - 17), within seconds of holding my phone I get agitation in my hands, anxiety feeling that lead to heart palpitations so strong. I now feel secondhand cell phones, can not go into large gatherings, Church auditorium, Theaters, Music venues, Airplanes, Airports, etc. And yes, the Apple safety guidance buried in the phone is true, use Hands Free & Speaker. I am now being challenged with our Community getting blanketed with 5G Antennas, placing them 10' feet from an apartment building on the west side with the safety sign being place on the top of the pole stating this antenna may exceed the FCC Safety Guidance and little stickers stating you need to be 10' away to be safe. Does it exceed, no one knows locally. I know it does because I feel the cell towers and small cell antennas, unfortunately I have a light pole on my property 30' from my bedroom window and our Village President shared the FCC can put up to (2) antennas per light pole. I will be forced to move at that point because I can not be in my home safely, outside in my gardens or safely walk around my neighborhood. This is a very concerning matter to be forced to leave your home after living there 40 years. And, where do I go to be safe?? That is unfortunately the reality, where do you go with having EHS to be free from all the wireless Radiation?? My Father's story: He was sickened for (2) years starting in 2016, having Heart Palpitations (AFIB), Gut issues, Dizzy episodes, Sleeping issues from Smart Meter installed on his bedroom wall, WiFi Router under his desk, WiFi Boosters installed where he sat in his kitchen dining table and family room chair. After my story, I was able to see why he was having all these mysterious symptoms, he was never getting a break from wireless radiation. He would go to rest in his bedroom after being dizzy at his dining table (WiFi Booster) to be hit again with the Smart Meter on his bedroom wall. Once all the wireless radiation items were removed his symptoms all went away but he had some continued energy issues and gut issues remain (Autoimmune disease). My Older Sister's Story: She was sickened in 2015 having mysterious symptoms for (3) years, Muscle ache, Extreme Anxiety, Gut issues, Energy issues from (4) ComEd Smart Meters outside her bedroom window living in a Condo, along with (57) WiFi from densely populated area. Once my story hit, I was able to see her issue. Once the Smart Meters were covered with Safety Guards her symptoms improved but she ended up moving to a more rural area, is doing better but still dealing with low energy and gut issues (Autoimmune Disease). My Son's Story: He was attending College at Northern Illinois University living in an Apartment building, University Plaza on campus, started having headaches after (3) months of living there, getting more severe. He mentioned to me one night on a phone call that they where installing more bars on the roof/Elevator Shaft. I asked him to immediately send me a photo, to find out they where installing Cell Tower Units, 60' feet from my son's bedroom window (Verizon & AT&T). I removed my son from that apartment building that evening and his headaches went away. I wrote a letter to the building management begging them to protect the students and remove the cell towers off the roof. Ballroom Dance Friend Story: My dance friend came up to me 2023 and shared she now understands why I sit in the back of the Ballroom away from other folks cell phones. She was diagnosed with stage (4) cancer tumor right under her Bra strap, carried her cell phone there frequently. Her doctor said she is seeing tumors at the bra strap and also at the waist line of workout pants where unfortunately woman are choosing to carry their cell phones. My friend passed away.

I have dealt with this for 3 years now since whistleblowing on a corrupt Philadelphia police officer, and a local police officer from newtown township, Pa. I have documented sim swapping from 3 separate providers. And have experienced anomalous health incidents most recently being a perforated ear drum from no head trauma. I have been dealing with the fake Tinnitus like ringing, and am also a sound engineer, capable of measuring sound waves which shows the use of infrasound as well. This is horrible! Please help!

I am very concerned regarding all emf’s. I became very interested in researching this topic several years ago. (10yrs) when I purchased an iPhone. My fingers are very sensitive to the screen. Then in 2017, we installed solar panels on our home and I started to feel the pulsating pulse in my ear as I would park my car in our garage. Between the smart meter that was installed in Feb 2017 and the solar panels in 2017, I immediately felt the pulsating in the ear. Luckily I found a faraday cover for my smart meter and the pulsation was reduced, but that doesn’t help the tinnitis I feel as well. Then over the years, the installation of 5g towers have worried me as well. These towers put out signal for 5 miles. There is literally no safe place to be. Within our homes with the WiFi or outside. I really wish there was a better way to mitigate these signals. This topic needs to be studied from the effects of cell phone exposure to 5g towers. The last studies origiante from 1970. Please look at the EGW studies they have been doing the studies. Thank you.

Since around July of this year, I have been experiencing vibrations in my head every night while sleeping. It is a faint vibration that seems to travel from the pillow to the back of my head. My wife, who sleeps next to me, has also experienced this.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I'm responding from the perspective of a concerned citizen who has experienced firsthand the effects of cell tower radiation. In 2015 I worked for 6 weeks in a building with a cell tower on the back. I had worked there previously, and noticed nothing for the first 4 weeks. But then I began to notice strange things. My feet would tingle as soon as I entered the building. I experienced extreme muscle weakness in my eyes, and would have to close my eyes despite not actually being sleepy. On several such occasions I felt electric shocks pass through me (dirty electricity from the equipment?). On one occasion I had the bizarre sensation that my chair dropped away from under me, then came back up and slammed me in the butt! I developed a hand tremor I'd never had before. For several months afterward I'd get sudden tremors racking my body, out of nowhere. I had frequent dizzy spells, felt weak and was afraid to drive long trips for fear of blacking out in my car. My swallowing reflex was slow on one side and I was afraid of choking. I developed weakness in my hip muscles and lower back (worst when the barometric pressure was low), and would feel like I was going to collapse. I also developed restless leg syndrome which has not completely gone away. This was a day job and just for 6 weeks. What happens to people who live near a cell tower 24/7? (Truly horrific things from what I've read -- one woman suffered 51 strokes, and for others it's a-fib, heart palpitations, chest tightness or outright heart attacks, not to mention headaches, dizziness, nausea, sleep disturbance, nosebleeds, and cancer.) Smart meter radiation (same type of radiation) has been shown to rip and slash the red blood cells of anyone standing near one for just 2 minutes, whether the person felt anything (e.g. tingling) or not. I've opted out of a smart meter, but have had bad experiences in homes with smart meters -- violently increased heart rate, or sudden exhaustion and hunger ("hangry" doesn't begin to describe it). This radiation is a serious threat to the health of all of us, and must be addressed. The experiences of all who have been affected need to be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I am directing this comment to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) about my personal experiences with EMF and the biological impacts my child experienced. My daughter was 7 months of age when our family moved into a newly built house. Over the course of 9 months we began to see our daughter stop babbling, develop neurological problems, and behaviors that resembled autism. However there were still behaviors that our standard pediatrician nor a developmental pediatrician could make sense of. I set out to find what was causing this and learned what EMF was and identified that our daughter’s crib was located directly next to the home WiFi router that was built into the wall of the laundry room by the home building company. We relocated the WiFi router and within two weeks our daughter started to make eye contact again and some of her symptoms improved. After working with other practitioners we learned that our daughter has had significant neurological damage and had significant inflammation to her central nervous system. Over the last year we have been doing what we can to best help her get better but we’re not sure she will ever fully regain what she lost due to this experience. Our daughter is also very sensitive to EMF and we have to limit being in public places near cell towers as this causes her to start showing neurological behaviors. As a result our family lives extremely carefully due to our daughter’s condition but in this country where EMF is not regulated we are finding this extremely difficult. As a parent my heart aches that this happened to my child, but more than that I’m enraged that EMF is not regulated, our government isn’t educating medical professionals or technical industries on this and that this is causing harm to so many Americans who aren’t even aware of it. In addition to my public comment I would like express our willingness to share details of daughters medical case if this helps provide supporting evidence/research of the health implications of EMF specifically to children. As a mother my heart is heavy that this happened to my child and that it is something that will impact her the rest of her life but my hope is that sharing her experience will help bring about change in this country.

My name is KIaren Rose, living in oregon, and suffering badly with severe chemical and electrosensitivity. Have celltower owned by T Mobile, less than 3000 ft away from house. It has antennae levels on tower, and using mid and low band frequencies, told to me by T Mobile, I am suffering badly daily from tower. I have following symptoms and they are now permanent:: vision blurring, floaters, cataracts, light sensitivity, memory losses, nausea, dizziness, vertigo, damaged vestibular system, hair loss, stomach and digestive pain, weight loss muscle wasting, mystagmus, pressure in head, csf leaks with sinking brain, severe fatigue, tremors like parkinsons, severe sleepiness , labored breathing, painful neck and lower back, weak and frail, etc. I have asked T Mobile to please divert antennae away from my house as I have lived there for 7 yrs and from 2G to now 5G the tower is and is permanently damaged my health and I have nowhere else to live. I am pleading for help, I can get much more details if your group or department would like from me, I have many more symptoms I live with. The 4G that was there before one year ago when 5G came in, already ruined my health and now the 5G which the pressure in my head continually tells me is emanating from tower 24/7, prevents me from a life with no pain constantly. My neighbors who live near me on this 20 acre property that I rent (just the cabin), also are very very ill from tower, severe dementia my landlord, and pain in whole body continuously, and neighbor has severe diabetes and severe rheumatoid arthritis and in lots of pain. Weekends are even worse and painful for me, indoors and outdoors, due to the heavier gaming traffic of neighbors and tower. • Comment: My comments represent an individual who is affected by EMF/RD Exposure as a family member. This individual, male, over 65 year of age, is currently afflicted with AHI since November 2025. A common symptom of people suffering from AHI (Anomalous Health Incidents) is targeted to receive audio modulated radio frequency or microwave energy is directed at the skull, heating cranial tissues microscopically to create thermoelastic pressure waves that the cochlea or brain perceives as sound. This individual believes that there is constant monitoring of his memories, which is being controlled via remote electronic means. The auditory sounds that this individual can hear are based on past memories that was not shared for a long time, posts in social media, the address book or apps in the phone or websites this individual normally access for information and these information are harvested in order to create a protocol of escalation in order to harass and harm this individual. Adverse health effects to its exposure are: a. Burn marks on the neck and chest area b. Exposed dentin- Yellow/brown stains on teeth. c. Loss of weight d. Short term and long term memory loss, confusion on past events, difficulty in identifying proper nouns/pronouns or word selection to articulate trail of though e. Confusion f. Nausea and headaches g. Balance issues h. Loss of sleep- causing lower immune resistance i. The triggering of higher body temperature causing fevers j. Muscle loss- significant weight loss k. Involuntary muscle response in chess, legs, stomach and groin area When the adverse health effects appeared related to the exposure, we resorted to getting a preliminary RF and Non-Linear Junction Detection Scan Report. While preliminary, it allowed us to gather results to exposure, which indicated the following: Instrumentation and Methodology The RF assessment utilized the following measurement equipment: JM-20 Pro General Frequency Detector: This device provides adjustable attenuation to ensure that detected emissions originate from within a narrow spatial range (1–2 cm). This feature minimizes interference from ambient RF noise and improves signal source localization. Spectrum Analyzer: Deployed to establish a baseline RF profile of the test environment and to differentiate between environmental RF emissions and those potentially associated with the test subject Findings Positive frequency activity was identified at the following anatomical reference points: Anterior Aspect 1. Left Superior Shoulder Region 2. Left Maxillary Region 3. Anterior Base of Neck Region 4. Left Apex Region 5. Upper Abdominal Midline Region 6. Right Maxillary / TMJ Region 7. Right Superior Shoulder Region 8. Right Apex Region 9. Left Lateral Hip Region 10. Nasal Dorsum Region Posterior Aspect 11. Left Scapular Region 12. Base of Neck Region 13. Right Scapular Region 14. Lower Lumbar Region 15. Right Superior Occipital Region In addition: using the NLDJ Scan, findings proved positive for presence of semiconductors. During the exposure period, we received feedback that by using Zeolite will flush our presence of silicone semiconductors, aluminum, or microplastics in the body that exacerbate the effects of RF/EMF exposure. After aggressive doses for 3 weeks the auditory sounds have decreased by 60% of the volume. Supplements are another step taken to strengthen the immune system, Vitamin K, switching to a higher protein diet to build up muscle. In my humble opinion, the gaps I see are: • the lack of medical experts to holistically diagnose and provide guidance to reduce and eliminate AHIs is lacking. One doctor may diagnose muscle loss or fever, but does not have the tools to explain higher levels of metal, RF exposure, the involuntary muscle responses as part of the effects suffered by this individual. These EMF/RF exposures should leave technical signatures. The lack of a process to identify, apprehend and prevent this expose is sorely lacking. • In evaluating such cases, medical facilities should have proper equipment and training to scan the body for metals, is it can react more negatively to RF/EMF exposure, identify frequencies and technical signatures, and safe scanning equipment without harming the individual which is already exposed to all kinds of negative effects. • Lastly, AHI needs to be acknowledged that US civilians are afflicted by this, and not just exclusive to the military. No treatment can be offered with the acknowledgement of what is truly happening.
