I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a parent and healthcare professional who works with children. I have personally witnessed children with a variety of diagnosis including ADHD, Autism spectrum disorder, and developmental delay become affected by EMF’s at the home, in school, and in public. Behavior, sleep, attention, etc can all be highly impacted by EMF’s, and we need to protect our children and our future. I have heard from parents who tried to reduce exposure in the home with some successes in children’s regulation, but it is so widespread in public spaces, schools, and even densely populated housing areas (making in-home exposure reduction difficult). The HHS need to look at current research and continue to increase research into EMF’s and our health as well as regulate the current situation and educate the public. Thank you.
