This is my comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure.
I am just a citizen, trying to minimize my exposure to harmful radiation, so I'm no expert.
We already are exposed to wireless radiation in our homes, our cars, our phones when we're even walking down the street.
We need questions about our health to be addressed by agencies with expertise in fields like medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health.
The experiences of citizens who report being affected should be taken seriously.
I hope HHS will carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, with special attention given to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.
Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.
