1. & 2. I am responding as: an individual
3a. Type of wireless or RF/EMF sources involved (e.g., mobile phones, Wi-Fi, smart meters…)cellular flip phone
3b. Nature, duration, frequency, and approximate timing (e.g., years):Ongoing sciatica pain 2006 - 2007
3c. Adverse health effect(s) experienced: Sciatica pain location followed cell-phone holster location.
3d. Time from first exposure to first appearance of adverse health effects; and did a change in exposure coincide with the onset of adverse effects:1 month; yes. When I shifted the location of my cell-phone-in-trouser-belt-mounted-cell-phone holster from my right hip to my left hip, the sciatica moved from my right side to my left. When I moved my cell phone into my left front pants pocket, the pain moved to my left thigh.
3e. Was medical evaluation or treatment sought? (Optionally:) Was there a diagnosis? No.
3f. Were steps taken to reduce or eliminate exposure, and were there subsequent changes in the effects? Yes. After I experienced the sciatica pain mentioned above, I kept my cell phone away from my body. In 2020, I disconnected my cell-phone service.
3g. Any supporting documentation? This includes Scientific Reports, exposure measurements, or other relevant information: No
Additional Details you would like to share about your experiences of adverse health effects you believe to be associated with exposure to wireless radiation or EMF's: EMF: In 2024, I experienced ongoing sinus infections for several months prior to finding out, by use of my EMF meter, that the made-in-China land-line full-featured desk phone powered by a standard 120 VAC electrical connection was emitting high-frequency electro-magnetic radiation at 10 V/m ! After completely disconnecting the phone, my sinus infections DISAPPEARED!
B1a. Sources you experience as causing you Adverse Effects: Being in direct contact with anyone's cell phone. A cell phone at least about 18" away from me doesn't appear to bother me.
B1b. Sources you can sense, but don't seem to harm you: None.
B1c. Sources you can use without sensing or being harmed: None.
B1d. Sources that seem to provide benefit (i.e., electrotherapy):None.
B2a. Health conditions you think may contribute to your sensitivity to EMFs including wireless: None.
B2b. Health conditions you don't necessarily associate with your sensitivity to EMFs including wireless, but might be relevant: Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia first diagnosed in 2021
B3. For each subquestion please list up to 5 drugs or therapies or home remedies (if any)
B3a. That you recommend, as they helped you tolerate or recover from EMF exposure: Removing the sources of high-frequency EM radiation
B3b. That you recommend, but you’re not positive that they help: If carrying a cell phone, use EMR shielding-material between your cell-phone and your body.
B3c. That helped you but you don’t recommend. (e.g., the benefit did not last long or the side effects were too harmful):None.
B3d. Treatments that had no effect: None.
B3e. Treatments that made your sensitivity worse:75+
B4. What is your age range?75+
B5. What year did you become aware of your sensitivity to wireless radiation or electromagnetic fields?2006
B6. What country, state, province, or major city were you living in when you first noticed your sensitivity to wireless or electromagnetic fields? USA, Virginia
