I am a member of the public concerned with the unaddressed potential health and environmental risks of radiofrequency (RF) radiation from wireless infrastructure and devices. SUMMARY I am filing a report for a friend who is so sick with EHS that she can't even use electricity let alone get online to comment on her condition. She is an individual consumer living in Australia. Janet had to have the wiring in her home restructured so that all other wiring was separate from it. She uses no electricity and keeps warm during winter using candles. With exposures to wi-fi, mobile phones and cell towers, within 3 minutes she suffers severe migraines and begins vomiting. It can take her weeks to recover from simple exposures so for the most part she is completely isolated with no support from anyone. As I have EHS too, we write to each other and have done for years. It helps her not to feel so alone. I know Janet would like to see awareness raised on EMF dangers and protocols set in place to protect vulnerable sensitive people like herself. ARGUMENT Janet understands the full effects that EMF can have on the human body from her personal experience. She also gets printed newsletters and magazines to keep her updated on EMF research. Some of the points she would like to illustrate on these effects include: 1. The Effects of oxidative stress on the body including cancer, free radicals, blood chemistry. Oxidative mechanisms of biological activity of low-intensity radiofrequency radiation - PubMed 2. The acute health effects caused by smartphones and antennas which have proven to cause red blood cells to rouleaux creating hypoxic conditions in the body. CONCLUSION Accordingly, I strongly urge the Commission to, under the weight of the scientific evidence, find that the current RF exposure limits are insufficient to protect public health and the environment. I am submitting this comment in response to FCC’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of an individual, retired Registered Veterinary Technician, parent, and human being. During January 2020, my family and I were sick with what seemed like a bad chest cold with cold/flu like symptoms. This was at the exact same time that AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile were all firing up their many 5G towers around the California central valley where I lived at the time. This was right after thousands of 5G towers were fired up in and around Wuhan China in September/October 2019 causing cold/flu-like “covid” symptoms”. I have also worked from home using a laptop computer and wifi router which caused me symptoms of irritability, anxiety, depression, dizziness, headaches, nausea, heaviness in the chest, fatigue, sleep disturbances, tinnitus and other cold/flu-like symptoms. Once I took out the router my symptoms improved but it wasn’t until I left my job to move out of state and was no longer working on a computer for 40 hours a week that I really started feeling better. I have had these same symptoms whenever I spend any time in a residence or building that has wifi and/or a large amount of electronic equipment, like the San Joaquin County building where the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors meet. I and others were sick for several days after spending hours waiting for my turn to speak in a Planning Commission meeting to address a legal matter regarding an illegal cell tower contract by the San Joaquin River Club where I used to live. I have also worked in several veterinary emergency hospitals with a lot of electronic equipment including fluid pumps, ultrasound machines, laboratory equipment and a CT scanner which caused irritability, anxiety, etc. I currently live in a low EMF environment which has really helped to alleviate my symptoms of Electromagnetic Radiation Sickness/Syndrome. I recently had an experience in which I had to gave my iPhone 16 on my person for at least 8 hours during the day because I was waiting for an important phone call in a town with several cell towers and 5G service. By the time I got home and no longer needed to have my phone on, I felt ill like I had the “flu”. I felt nauseous, had a headache and had to go to bed early. It took a couple days to get back to normal. I support FCC taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation and finally updating the 1996 guidelines. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge FCC to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Sept 24, 2026 ET Docket No. 13-84 Reassessment of FCC RF Limits/Policies. I'm Jaime Schunkewitz, an electrical/biomedical engineer with an advanced case of electromagnetic hypersensitivity and accompanied chemical sensitivity. I was a process control engineer commissioning oil refineries, and chemical plants. Tremors in my forearms were a sure sign of neural damage according to Dr. Rea. Later while a principal software engineer in R&D, I could no longer endure the excruciating pain from the EMF emitted by my PC at work. I cut the cord and went wireless at the times. Pulsed microwaves emitted by wireless devices are an existential threat to my health and existence. Cell phones, Bluetooth, wifi all cause acute, severe symptoms including headache, tinnitus, fatigue, mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), cognitive decline, insomnia, chest pain, heart fibrillation, muscle weakness, digestive gut pain. The effects accumulate, so the more time being exposed the worse the symptoms become, and longer recovery time is required. If I don't have an opportunity to recover then a feverish illness take over, where I'm bedridden. I'm only able to type because I'm 25 feet from my laptop using 10x binoculars. The keyboard is an analog/passive matrix with fiber optic isolation. My trackball is shielded and also fiber optic isolated. The laptop runs on the battery, charged by a linear power supply, with a short wired Ethernet cable, the modem and router run on linear DC power supplies , all wired without WiFi, and filtered to keep the noise from conducting onto the power lines. The printer is the most brutally noisy device, and turned on for a few seconds at a time, even with blutooth disarmed. The setup still becomes painful after several minutes of use, more so when on-line. Any witness can see my face turn red following short exposure to EMF. My face now burns constantly since smart meters were installed in the neighborhood. I visited my MD the same week they were installed, when he prescribed a topical ointment for Rosacia, because my face was beet red. At the time I wasn't aware the SMs were commissioned. I've become a prisoner in my own home, terrified of becoming ill from the ubiquitous cell towers, cell phones and other wireless devices. Even though we have an analog electric utility meter the pulsed microwaves from other houses still effect me, both from the radiation and high frequency noise conducted onto the power transmission lines. I don't have a smart phone, there are are no wireless devices in the house, there are no switching mode power supplies, No one uses a cell phone in the house. So there are no contradictions, I do all I can to avoid EMF just to stay alive and be as productive as possible. Otherwise I'll fall into a malaise, never to recover. In two instances my heart has ceased beating, until my hands froze and unable to utter a word. That occurred in the early stages of my syndrome, before remediating. I hide outside in a shed when the oil furnaces are on, same for TVs the washer, vacuum, blenders, etc. I can tell when a cell phone is on, even while standing idle; first tinnitus, then a headache. The symptoms don't just disappear when the phone goes off, rather they linger for hours,, even days, depending on the baseline of my sensitivity and exposure to EMF and chemicals. I can feel a 5G phone as someone walks in the house. Countless scientific studies prove the detrimental health effects of pulsed microwaves, yet the most credible, stark evidence are people like me. We've warned others, cried for help and recognition only to be bullied, tortured, ridiculed, ignored, left to fend for ourselves. My own MD told me I have to be my own advocate when I requested assistance in providing accommodations at the office. They refuse to turn the 50 inch TV off for me. It's playing gibberish while I'm suffering from oxidative stress, Add the cell phones then the symptoms begin to build with time, my heart rate quickens. When the chest pain begins I've entered a more acute stage, when gone too far a feverish sickness ensues a day later. Smart meters violate the right to privacy and the inalienable right to pursue happiness. All of us should have the option to have analog utility meters. Schoolchildren are at risk, screen time is pulsed microwave time. The combination of EMF and chemicals is the leading cause of chronic disease via activation of voltage gated calcium channels and subsequent oxidative stress. The single most effective way to make America great again is by cleaning up the environment from chemicals and EMF. I am writing regarding the FCC’s response to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals’ remand concerning its decades-old radiofrequency (RF) radiation exposure guidelines. The Court directed the FCC to provide a reasoned explanation for its determination that its guidelines adequately protect humans against harmful effects of RF radiation unrelated to cancer. Specifically, the court required the FCC to address the impacts of RF radiation on children, the health implications of long-term exposure, the ubiquity of wireless devices and technological developments, impacts on the environment, and the adequacy of the FCC’s testing procedures for cell phones and other portable devices. The FCC should fully consider evidence and real-world experiences concerning the health and environmental impacts of wireless radiation, including non-cancer health effects, impacts on children, long-term and cumulative exposure, cancer, and impacts on wildlife and the environment. The FCC is not a health agency and does not have expertise in medicine, biology or public health. Yet, the agency continues to assert authority over RF exposure standards and is preparing to reach conclusions about whether its existing guidelines adequately protect the public. I urge the FCC to recognize the critical role of federal health agencies, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and to rely on appropriate health and biological expertise when addressing the issues identified by the court. This issue matters to me personally because: As a beekeeper, I have personally seen the effects of 5g wireless radiation on our pollinators. We had a 5g tower installed less than 5 miles away several years ago. After the towers installation, I began to have excessive bee colony deaths over the winter. This had not been an issue with my colonies prior to the towers installation. In addition, to the bee losses, I began to experience an increase in headaches when at home. As a nurse, I began to do research and learned there is emerging evidence of the health implications for both animals and humans from 5G technology. I was appalled at how communicatuons companies and the FCC have failed to conduct any independent research on the effects of their technology! This is unacceptable! Further, the towers are unsightly and decrease property values and are bypassing any resident input on their placement. I urge the FCC to give meaningful consideration to the experiences and evidence before it and to fully address each of the issues identified by the court.

Besides tinnitus proliferation and NEPA requests last decade to FCC for studies showing EMF safety, which both "bought" parties blew off for profit..... re Cell phone EMF’s (ElectroMagnetic Frequencies) and their serious impacts I sort of jokingly initially referred to the problems of isolation, narcissism, "anti-"social media vs actual direct communication, general dumb-downing, etc., initiated primarily by intro of common cell use in the early 2000's, by referencing the owners’ "addicting" cell phones ( which I call StupidPhones or ViewBlockers and do not use, while I do LOVE safe hardwired fiber optics and internet). It was only a few months ago now that I changed my own thinking about that somewhat meant to be a "teasing " term, "addictive". This is when I fully realized that these people are truly ADDICTED, and denial is one of the MAIN signs of addiction. Hence the question I have been too often asked, "How can you possibly live without one???" is not a casual sort of joke, but an honest but unacknowledged admission of genuine addiction. I have shared the following info with c 150+ different individuals and organizations and only 2 have ever brought the subject back up to me, one a lawyer friend, now convinced, who has argued in front of the Supreme Court in the past, and another, a nationally renowned ornithologist who said he would now add this threat to insects, in particular, outlined below to his already existing list of 1) habitat loss , 2) overuse of herbi-pesticides (which I have battled against alone and with my students for decades), and 3) climate change (a pathetically self-exculpatory abstracted term for those in our world-exploiting “consumer culture”) From a recent search "EMF harms to Insects" PLENTY to look at..... if one looks Here are a first few This first one below reiterates the dearth of focused newer studies ( due to unwillingness of cell addicts, + Telecom influence to obfuscate and squelch). My "anecdotal" evidence of YEARS (2009 until 5G arrival in early '23) of ALWAYS seeing probably hundreds of honey and other bees, + other insects, EVERY time I would go on a run through our burbs on all the yr round flowering plants or other insects around lights at night here is, in our poor at self-examination anthronarcissistic culture, unfortunately worth little. These days since early '23, I sometimes see ZERO insects on say a similar to the past heavily flowered 9 mile jaunt. Now I revel if I see 1 dragonfly or butterfly or one bat or maybe YAY even a few honeybees, usually only on one out of many nearby blooming plants, such as an in bloom Texas Ranger, which since my arrival here in 2001 always were formerly adorned with happily foraging bees. Much referenced in this article, that sounds horrible to me already, uses phrases such as "deserves further research of such and such type ". Denial and addiction hahah ! Even the "old" and "not focused" or dismissed as 'irrelevant' studies are so troubling to me that I can SO easily see how the cell industry has capitalized on human's fascination with and addiction to these devices as OVERWHELMINGLY and quickly as possible, while practicing what I call omitformation... just like with tobacco, the covid mRNA shots, or Roundup, or petro and global warming etc Don't LIE, OMIT just leave out and obfuscate anything that might deter profit. The FCC should admit that it has caused severe health consequences to millions of Americans. Some of these consequences are due to the Smart Grid, which pulses astronomical levels of radiation into people's homes. Please see documents submitted under comments number 202609253096515102 and 20260924206082875. The FCC should fully consider evidence and real-world experiences concerning the health and environmental impacts of wireless radiation, including non-cancer health effects, impacts on children, long-term and cumulative exposure, cancer, and impacts on wildlife and the environment. The FCC is not a health agency and does not have expertise in medicine, biology or public health. Yet, the agency continues to assert authority over RF exposure standards and is preparing to reach conclusions about whether its existing guidelines adequately protect the public. The FCC has no mandate to protect the public health and should not be doing this. I urge the FCC to recognize the critical role of federal health agencies, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and to rely on appropriate health and biological expertise when addressing the issues identified by the court. The FCC should hand off the duty to protect the public health to agencies that are mandated to do so.

I am extremely concerned that the extreme ubiquity of wireless devices everywhere and of wireless phone towers everywhere has not been properly studied. I strongly urge the federal government to immediately take steps to retroactively study the exact timing, frequency bands and strength, and locations of different types of EMFs from all cell phone towers which encourage wireless devices everywhere as well as a retroactive study of the same data from all other towers emitting EMFs, including radio and TV towers, police communication towers and antennas, fire department towers and antennas, private corporations and private towers and antennas, CB towers and antennas, airport towers and antennas, private airplane towers and antennas, and all other forms of towers and antennas in order to be able to identify cummulative EMF exposure in specific areas. Create a overlapping radius of local and nearby overlapping radius of adverse health impacts of EMFs, using all sources of local medical diagnoses including the data from Medicaid and Medicare wiped clean of personal identifiable information (all contact info, exact age, name, relatives, emergency contacts, photos, and all data that may be used to identify a specific person), where addresses can be categorized into areas influenced most by specific tower(s), and ages categorized by 5 year groupings. Then, collect by zip codes surrounding the nearby hospitals; urgent type care facilities; endocrinologists and other handling diabetics and those with blood sugar control issues; eye doctors who test IOP and or do retinal and macular imaging for potential blindness warnings; to be cross referenced with suspected and related adverse health occurrences from various types of EMFs. This would include out-of-control diabetic Blood Sugar; Intraocular pressure (IOP) causing glaucoma; sleeplessness, difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep for 7-9 hours; Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD); ADHD and related anxiety and attention focus disorders; cancer--all forms, broken down by type; sepsis and other infections; cardiac disturbances of rate, rhythm, blood pressure, EKG findings; epilepsy; tinnitis; and other issues being associated with EMFs, including increased death rates. The SARS ratings on mobile devices need stricter regulation to make them more accurate and more useful for purchasers to know the actual strength of the EMFs in terms of exposure time and SARS rating likely to produce various symptoms for various chronic illnesses. The current SARS ratings are unreliable for most predictive uses, and this needs to change. FCC should compile available information and make it available to the public in a useful way. FCC should outlaw mobile devices with SARS ratings known to cause problems that lead to pre-mature death. Perhaps a second measurement should be added to the SARS rating. From 2002 to 2018 a nature sanctuary in Iowa County, Wisconsin was isolated from cell towers being much lower than much of the surrounding area, and while the insects and the bees were dwindling in that surrounding area where cell phones received sufficient signals to be used. The area inside this nature sanctuary never received sufficient cell signals for any use whatsoever until 2019 when some phones began to ring or were able to sometimes be used within that sanctuary, and at the same time, remarkably the number of insects began to decrease by about 50% in a fairly rapid decline, and some bee hives on the property that had always thrived began to suffer some disassociation for the first time. Based on my observations, the rapid decrease was associated almost identically with the timing of the penetration of mobile cell phone signals into the area for the first time in the history of that nature sanctuary based upon the fact that the cell phones began to ring there for the first time in history and the fact that people were able to find places their cell phones worked deep in the central area where people did group activities together for the first time in history in 2019. Based on my repeated confirmation of this first time during 2019 on at least a monthly basis and at times more often, I concluded that I was observing that EMFs from the mobile phone cellar towers were the primary reason that bees were leaving the hives and unable to find their way back to the hives to which they belonged in this situation. There were no neonicinoid exposure in this area. In fact, this entire large sanctuary had never had any pesticide applications whatsoever for decades going back at least 50 years. In this way, pesticides can be ruled out as the new cause of the sudden decline of bees and insects in this special area that had been geographically protected from nearby farms which were on much much higher ground than the overwhelming bulk of this sanctuary through which a small creek meandered. Other surrounding area with different ownership was also mostly composed of the same woods and forest that surrounded this entire sanctuary property, and those woods and forest started at about the same altitude as the bulk of this carved out nature sanctuary, resulting in almost no cell phone coverage until 2019 on the back roads leading to this sanctuary and these farms, some of which raised cows, often seen in the woods. This nature sanctuary also had a tall grass prairie in it, where the cell phones also did not work until 2019. It had hills that rose up higher than that tall grass prairie but lower than surrounding adjacent lands owned by other folks, some of which contained a natural burial section, but again the cell phones did not work on this property until beginning in 2019 which was remarkably the exact time that several people began remarking about the rapid decrease in flying insects and some loss of bees in bee hives for the first time. The information in Arthur Firstenberg's books must be considered by FCC and incorporated into policies to restrict EMF harm to people that has long been recognized in his books by millions of people: The Invisible Rainbow: A history of Electricity and Life; The Earth and I; Microwavng our Planet: The Environmental Impact of the Wireless Revolution (Cellular Phone Task Force, 1997). He documented the basic fact that everytime a new EMF environmental source technology was introduced, starting at least with the telegraph, that a new bumb followed in the death statistics where that new EMF technology was being used to the extent it radiated outward from the source. Since non-ionizing radiation does this, that amazing fact has huge implications that these EMFs represent a source of physics dynamics that has not been sufficiently explored by science to identify the full characteristics of this energy source that departs from the more traditionally acknowledged energy sources and fuels. My personal experiential observations after the fact of installation of electric smart meters on the houses in my neighborhood on the opposite side of my block, when I remained uninformed and unawares of that installation in the mid-to-late 2010s, resulted in the sudden development of high IOP eye pressures that are known to call fast and sudden permanant loss of vision in people of Asian and Native American descent who have narrow angle glaucoma that does result in fast and sudden permanent loss of vision forever, which is a serious human health disability that must be avoided at all costs instead of let loose without regulation to harm human beings exposed to the EMFs that cause these IOP eye pressures to skyrocket upwards with this devastating effect. This requires quick action where the lens of the eye requires laser surgery to make a hole for the buildup of liquid pressure in the eye to escape before the person with narrow angle glaucome becomes permanently blind in this way. Other Americans of European descent tend to have increased IOP eye pressures from EMF exposures also, but the eye pressures doesn't skyrocket upwards super fast in open angle glaucoma where the IOP eye pressure raises much slower, allowing more scheduling in the timing to do that same laser surgery. After EMF smart meters were placed on homes in California, medical records were used to prove that number of people developing high IOP eye pressures suddenly raised, often happening to more than one person in a household immediately after the electric smart meters were introduced. Very similar situations developed with California electric smart meters pertaining to sudden near-death explosions in dangerous levels of very high blood sugar that developed in many households, often being diagnosed in more than one household member in the same time period or at the exact same time shortly following the installation of electric smart meters. It is very serious that people with closed angle glaucoma could go blind permanently from EMFs, and the bands of those EMFs must be identified and power levels determined that are associated with this permanent blindness, and those causes must be removed without delay from the US EMF tower system and cell phone usage system. It is very serious that people can develop rapid onset dangerously high level of diabetic level blood sugar that goes out of controllability at the 800 level range and the 900 range and however high that blood sugar is able to go when the person's life in that danger zone. The power levels and bands associated with this potential death threat and any permanent harm from out-of-control rising blood sugar must be banned from EMF usage across the USA in order to protect the lives of all Americans--none of which can be Constitutionally viewed as disposable by any government entity in the USA, especially FCC which has acquired a rather odd and reckless reputation for ignoring these problems which have been recognized in California courts as sufficiently documented rationally for the California Court System to order the mandatory removal of these EMF smart meters for electric usage at some point in the past. The fact that a pattern of such cases with out-of-control blood sugar developed in many houses shortly after the California electric smart meters were installed and that some houses had multiple victims of this sudden onslaught of out-of-control blood sugar shows that there is is a sufficient causal relationship that must be explored to protect people's from Type 2 diabetes or whatever. The FCC has failed to give proper consideration to the adverse health effects of EMF technologies to date, and this disregard of potential death from insufficient FCC regulation of this dangerous technology must change immediately going forward.

Hello, I am EMF Sensitive and have spent countless hours and a lot of money, along with others in our city to stop the smart meter roll out to no avail. When I was not at home, 2 city policemen showed up at my property ( I have video) along with 2 city employees, one of whom placed a smart meter on my home even after I spoke to the city council several times and submitted certified letters asking for health information on the smart meter. No city official/employee ever responded to my letters, no one returned my calls or addressed my concerns that I spoke of at the city council meetings even though they took my information indicating that someone would get back to me. Once the smart meter was on, I decided to just wait and see if it actually did affect me. It started right away, with me having sudden onset of headaches, sleepless nights and generally feeling ill to my stomach. My husband called the city within a week to ask them to replace with the opt-out meter. Our city charges $24.65/ month for the opt out and has expressed that they want it to be expensive to keep others from opting out. Xcel charges about $11/month ( county provider)You can imagine what a hardship this expense is but many of us are sick from this exposure. We feel it is extortion. Many in our community have opted out( I believe over 300) and significantly more said they would opt-out if they could afford the fee. Someone did a Nextdoor poll and a large portion of our community did not want these harmful devices on/near our homes. Once the opt-out was placed on our home, my headaches went away and I could sleep better. Since they have been placing these devices in our neighborhood, I still feel ill in my home. I have learned there is what my electrician calls dirty electricity everywhere now and I am still being affected my neighbor's smart meters, so it is hard to get away from these frequencies that are harmful to humans, animals and even our plants. I know that before they changed out my original meter, I felt good, especially after I replaced the LED lights for incandescent ones. Now, since the smart meter and opt-out meter roll-out, I feel ill in my own home and a lot poorer, too. We should not have to pay to keep our bodies healthy. I believe that it is extortion. There has to be a better way for our health and the health of future generations. Thank you.

Wireless radiation standards in the U.S. are outdated and severely deficient. Thousands of independent studies have shown that there are numerous ill effects from RF/EMF, such as oxidative stress, cancer, and neurological disorders. I've been very sensitive to RF/EMF for many years, and unfortunately, levels continue to get worse. I have neurological symptoms from exposures. I've had to make accommodations to my living environment (e.g. special shielding) to try and limit my exposures. I'm currently looking for a new place to live because my exposures from neighbors have gotten so bad (e.g. wireless routers on 24 hours a day, Tesla cars charging all night long, which cause magnetic field levels in my house to double or triple, etc.) Thank you for reaching out for feedback.

I am writing regarding the FCC’s response to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals’ remand concerning its decades-old radiofrequency (RF) radiation exposure guidelines. The Court directed the FCC to provide a reasoned explanation for its determination that its guidelines adequately protect humans against harmful effects of RF radiation unrelated to cancer. Specifically, the court required the FCC to address the impacts of RF radiation on children, the health implications of long-term exposure, the ubiquity of wireless devices and technological developments, impacts on the environment, and the adequacy of the FCC’s testing procedures for cell phones and other portable devices. The FCC should fully consider evidence and real-world experiences concerning the health and environmental impacts of wireless radiation, including non-cancer health effects, impacts on children, long-term and cumulative exposure, cancer, and impacts on wildlife and the environment. The FCC is not a health agency and does not have expertise in medicine, biology or public health. Yet, the agency continues to assert authority over RF exposure standards and is preparing to reach conclusions about whether its existing guidelines adequately protect the public. I urge the FCC to recognize the critical role of federal health agencies, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and to rely on appropriate health and biological expertise when addressing the issues identified by the court. I urge the FCC to give meaningful consideration to the experiences and evidence before it and to fully address each of the issues identified by the court.
