My Dr. can tell when I have had to much emf \n\nexposure.   I can not put a cell phone to my ear as after just a second or two, my ear and head start \n\nburning.  I didn't realize until a few days ago, that my electric meters were monitored remotely.  The \n\nmeter is outside our (my late husband's and my) bedroom.  We stayed out of the bedroom and slept in the living room without \n\nunderstanding the reason.  I cannot go into the Viaero cell phone store in my community without \n\ngetting a splitting headache that is not normal.  Abnormal headaches are becoming more frequent.   I \n\nhave a cell tower very close to my residence.  I put emf protection on the wall facing the tower.  That \n\nhelped some. I Know many others who have complained of health problems and disabilities because of \n\nemf exposure including family members who are disabled due to emf exposure.  They cannot travel, or \n\neven get into newer cars.  They started having problems with tingly and hurt hands touching a cell \n\nphone. \n\n I would appreciate the cell phone tower close to me at least moved as it is not only a health \n\nhazard, its ugly as I have a beautiful view of the hill above me with a cell phone tower sticking out \n\nruining the view.       \n\nI talked with the power district about removing the meters at my residence and  putting in ones that are \n\nread  manually.  Doing so, will cost me $200 per meter, plus $30 extra each month if I read them and \n\n$85 a month if the electric company comes out to read them.  As the meters are a health issue, I would \n\nappreciate help with paying for them, or a waiver to get them changed over. \n\n","attachments":[],"attachment_inventory":true,"withheld":false,"source":"https://www.regulations.gov/comment/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-6820","tags":["health-experiences","exposure-places"],"source_hash":"ebab9dfc843ff5508a44a32d67e06f8c0d6e2205badbaa901a7c9aaacadcc34b","slug":"health-experiences-comment-6820","classification":{"id":"HHS-OASH-2026-0397-6820","body_sha256":"b5f923abf405c45724605d46cd1ea2eebafcf3a31e91858d41de4b027a5a8a54","status":"ai_reviewed","primary_topic":"smart-meters","topics":[{"id":"smart-meters","evidence":"I would \n\nappreciate help with paying for them, or a waiver to get them changed over."},{"id":"infrastructure","evidence":"I would appreciate the cell phone tower close to me at least moved"},{"id":"neurological","evidence":"getting a splitting headache that is not normal."}],"summary":"Reports pain, burning and headaches around phones and nearby infrastructure, describes shielding and family access limitations, and requests tower relocation and assistance with meter opt-out costs.","reviewed_at":"2026-10-28T23:54:32Z","review_method":"Full comment-text review with exact source evidence; attachments not reviewed","review_source_sha256":"763bd0f3e7d4e34225967c595e7ad949be830bd51cbe97162895bf706b27c821","source_url":"https://rfsafe.net/hhs-comments/data/catalog.json","scope":"Original comment body; attachments excluded"},"forum_topics":["smart-meters","infrastructure","neurological"],"primary_topic":"smart-meters","forum_title":"Reports pain, burning and headaches around phones and nearby infrastructure, describes shielding and fami…"}
