{"id":"HHS-OASH-2026-0397-6486","number":"6486","name":"Benjamin Scott","organization":"","posted":"2026-10-28T04:00Z","received":"2026-10-21T04:00Z","body":"I am commenting mostly from The perspective of husband to an Electrically Sensitive person as well as an experince I had.\n\nMy wife has severe muscle cramping that gradually increases in intensity and pain after even a few moments of exposure to cell phone singals. Particularly, when a call is actively being used.\n\nHer reactions occar when an active call is within 35 feet of her but shorter distances increase the effect. This has been confirmed to me when I have simply walked by the house passing at closest, 10 feet from her. She being inside the house and having no knowledge that I was on a call, nor passing near her. Those evenings later she would be in pain and not understand why.  I knew the reason because I had not respected the rule of maintaining my distance with my phone.  The pain leads to insomnia for her and the insomnia leads to further severe pain. She is unable to function nor enjoy life until this cycle can be broken.
