I am responding as: an individual\n3a. Type of wireless or RF/EMF sources involved (e.g., mobile phones, Wi-Fi, smart meters…)Smart Mters\n3b. Nature, duration, frequency, and approximate timing (e.g., years):I was sleeping approximately 1.6 M (5 feet) from two smart meters located at head height for over a year\nI persuaded the installing company to change one meter for an analogue, and a second meter was switched off from pulsing (allegedly). This was concurrent with my local council installing 5G 'Smart' streetlights in my area\n3c. Adverse health effect(s) experienced:Nosebleeds, sleep disruption, trouble concentrating and brain fog\n3d. Time from first exposure to first appearance of adverse health effects; and did a change in exposure coincide with the onset of adverse effects:Less than two weeks. Moved to an area of low radiation to sleep, and symptoms all but disappeared\n3e. Was medical evaluation or treatment sought? (Optionally:) Was there a diagnosis?. Yes, but no medical person I contacted had any experience with RF radiation symptoms\n3f. Were steps taken to reduce or eliminate exposure, and were there subsequent changes in the effects? As a retired, electronic engineer, I obtained an RF signal strength meter and moved to a low radiation location to sleep. The symptoms decreased markedly\n3g. Any supporting documentation? This includes Scientific Reports, exposure measurements, or other relevant information:I have a detailed folder on the subject, but was lent to the Cardiac Department of St. Georges Hospital, Tooting, London, but as yet, not returned. Suggest you contact Mark Steele, website www.'saveusnow.org.uk' who is a leading British expert on the subject (if you havn't already done so)\nAdditional Details you would like to share about your experiences of adverse health effects you believe to be associated with exposure to wireless radiation or EMF's: \nB1a. Sources you experience as causing you Adverse Effects:Smart meters. Smart Street ,lights\nB1b. Sources you can sense, but don't seem to harm you:Proximity to Microwave Devices\nB1c. Sources you can use without sensing or being harmed: \nB1d. Sources that seem to provide benefit (i.e., electrotherapy): \nB2a. Health conditions you think may contribute to your sensitivity to EMFs including wireless: \nB2b. Health conditions you don't necessarily associate with your sensitivity to EMFs including wireless, but might be relevant:Heart conditions, Lymphatic system functions\nB3. For each subquestion please list up to 5 drugs or therapies or home remedies (if any)\nB3a. That you recommend, as they helped you tolerate or recover from EMF exposure:Avoidance of RF frequencies where possible. Switching off mobile phones when carrying on person\nB3b. That you recommend, but you’re not positive that they help:Shielding Modems with a Faraday Cage\nB3c. That helped you but you don’t recommend. (e.g., the benefit did not last long or the side effects were too harmful): \nB3d. Treatments that had no effect: \nB3e. Treatments that made your sensitivity worse:75+\nB4. What is your age range?75+\nB5. What year did you become aware of your sensitivity to wireless radiation or electromagnetic fields?Around 2000\nB6. What country, state, province, or major city were you living in when you first noticed your sensitivity to wireless or electromagnetic fields?South London, UK","attachments":[],"attachment_inventory":true,"withheld":false,"source":"https://www.regulations.gov/comment/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-6229","tags":["health-experiences","sleep-cognition","exposure-places","research-evidence"],"source_hash":"c4b93803c2341b647fd54cd6265b351365a2fcfe78c8ab6956fac32889ea337b","slug":"health-experiences-comment-6229","classification":{"id":"HHS-OASH-2026-0397-6229","body_sha256":"41c2c4d005f3072edead28c08ee191a7f94c194abfce7a2cf1999fbfea10ea3a","status":"ai_reviewed","primary_topic":"smart-meters","topics":[{"id":"smart-meters","evidence":"s sleeping approximately 1.6 M (5 feet) from two smart meters located at head height for over a year\nI persuaded the installin"},{"id":"neurological","evidence":"rse health effect(s) experienced:Nosebleeds, sleep disruption, trouble concentrating and brain fog\n3d.
