And the natural frequency of the Earth is the Schumann resonance near 7.83 Hz. Direct current, at the levels I’m talking about, feels like the closest thing to calm and restoration as we’ll ever get.\n\nEach cycle is part of a wave, and a signal can use on/off states—1s and 0s—to represent information. Binary is foundational to computing as we know it. These days, a signal may cycle trillions of times to carry information, and the demand for communication continues to increase.\n\nImagine every individual wave is like softly punching your cat. At first, the cat thinks you are playing and paws back playfully. Then it becomes not so fun, and to make the punching stop, the fangs and teeth come out because it hurts and is causing harm. That’s the stage we are at, and eventually we are going to kill the cat.\n\nAnd is the scientific response might be, “Ah, it doesn’t really matter; we can build a better cat”?\n\nSome engineer is probably laughing somewhere, saying, “We already did that!”\n\nGood luck, y’all!","attachments":[],"attachment_inventory":true,"withheld":false,"source":"https://www.regulations.gov/comment/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-5691","tags":["health-experiences","biology-metabolism","policy-standards","research-evidence"],"source_hash":"e737eb9dd2a5c12b2234de70e7c07044e9d958aaca914506aecbdf849d857bf5","slug":"health-experiences-comment-5691","classification":{"id":"HHS-OASH-2026-0397-5691","body_sha256":"74558df2848ed7160b393f9862288fae2c3097ca17bd764935cadacb2e7a8ce8","status":"ai_reviewed","primary_topic":"research","topics":[{"id":"research","evidence":"What are the highest-priority research gaps regarding EMF and RF exposure?"},{"id":"ehs","evidence":"Five Common Precursors to EMF Sensitivity"},{"id":"standards","evidence":"Measuring EMF exposure in the environment is not the same as measuring how living tissue responds to it over time."}],"summary":"Outlines a proposed discussion of EMF sensitivity, exposure standards, research and recovery approaches.
