During the conversation I held the cell phone close to my right ear almost all the time.\nFor the next three days I experienced an inflamed bloated red ear and swollen glands in the neck.\nI did not seek medical attention.\nThe symptoms faded naturally over time.\nI became concerned about the potential long term health effects of that exposure.\nI started using either wired or Bluetooth earphones to talk on the phone.\nI try to keep the cellphone away from the body as much as possible.\n\nExample 2:\nI have a Wi-Fi router in the home.\nIf I stay close to it longer than 30 or 40 seconds I start feeling dizzy.\nAs soon as I move away from it the dizziness disappears.\n\nI imagine there's scientific research about the negative health effects of EMFs exposure.\n\nPersonally I do not need to see any scientific proof of it, because I already know that EMFs exposure can have adverse health effects. I have personal direct experience of the issue.\n\nI know there are people particularly sensitive to EMFs exposure that unfortunately experience harsher symptoms compared to the symptoms I had.\n\nUrban environments concern me the most because of the high concentration of EMF emitting devices like cell towers and antennas.\n\nI urge the current administration to consider any reasonable measure to limit the exposure of people to EMFs, hoping that public health will be considered (as it should) of higher priority over profit.\n\nThank you for your attention.","attachments":[],"attachment_inventory":true,"withheld":false,"source":"https://www.regulations.gov/comment/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-5371","tags":["health-experiences","sleep-cognition","exposure-places","research-evidence"],"source_hash":"1e0674f2128bf4c8b1b5f65a9758bd418b5aaea380e24137422a0bba9491ed31","slug":"health-experiences-comment-5371","classification":{"id":"HHS-OASH-2026-0397-5371","body_sha256":"61f247a178f420adc5bd7742f4f037b060cfd061a89d95e7172e87a1d00daf93","status":"ai_reviewed","primary_topic":"wifi","topics":[{"id":"wifi","evidence":"dy as much as possible.\n\nExample 2:\nI have a Wi-Fi router in the home.\nIf I stay close to it longer than 30 or 40 seconds "},{"id":"neurological","evidence":"ng dizzy.\nAs soon as I move away from it the dizziness disappears.\n\nI imagine there's scientific research about the neg"},{"id":"standards","evidence":"nt administration to consider any reasonable measure to limit the exposure of people to EMFs, hoping that public health will be considered "},{"id":"infrastructure","evidence":"h concentration of EMF emitting devices like cell towers and antennas.\n\nI urge the current administration to consider any reasonable m"}],"summary":"Reports ear inflammation after a long phone call and dizziness near a router, describes reducing exposure, and requests protective measures.","reviewed_at":"2026-10-27T19:20:49Z","review_method":"Full comment-text review with exact source evidence; attachments not reviewed","review_source_sha256":"83a5617abc7072e85444df5f6a2d0a57a3f67e03b4954c43ebcf4c45fc20b755","source_url":"https://rfsafe.net/hhs-comments/data/catalog.json","scope":"Original comment body; attachments excluded"},"forum_topics":["wifi","neurological","standards","infrastructure"],"primary_topic":"wifi","forum_title":"Reports ear inflammation after a long phone call and dizziness near a router, describes reducing exposure…"}
