Living in close, continuous proximity to these wireless radiation sources has severely disrupted our quality of life, safety, and well-being.\nCurrent federal safety guidelines and public health monitoring do not adequately account for real-world, long-term, or close-range cumulative exposures experienced by residents living near small-road and neighborhood installations. I urge HHS and related policymakers to:\n1. Acknowledge and investigate real-world health impacts: Incorporate direct public testimony and medical histories from individuals living adjacent to wireless towers into current scientific risk assessments.\n2. Re-evaluate proximity standards: Establish stricter buffer zones, setback requirements, and lower exposure limits for residential areas and private roadways.\n3. Fund independent research: Prioritize independent, transparent studies looking at the cumulative biological and cardiovascular effects of non-ionizing RF/EMF exposure on vulnerable populations.\nThank you for the opportunity to submit this comment and for considering the real human toll of these exposures.\nSincerely,\nNeighborhood Resident \nChaparral Rd West Hills CA 91304\nrzietal@aol.com","attachments":[],"attachment_inventory":true,"withheld":false,"source":"https://www.regulations.gov/comment/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-4678","tags":["health-experiences","exposure-places","policy-standards","research-evidence"],"source_hash":"fddfa8ca9074e0ea19cc361135f66f56e63b3747b87987674b11b724e462464f","slug":"health-experiences-comment-4678","classification":{"id":"HHS-OASH-2026-0397-4678","body_sha256":"39982651a33d2afb029eb1b91f7dd8ec76f9979cf0eec97e3526da31809adb7c","status":"ai_reviewed","primary_topic":"infrastructure","topics":[{"id":"infrastructure","evidence":"wireless/cellular towers were installed directly at the entrance of our private small road"},{"id":"cardiac","evidence":"my father suffered a major, unexpected heart attack that required emergency open-heart surgery."},{"id":"neurological","evidence":"I personally have suffered from chronic, debilitating headaches"},{"id":"standards","evidence":"Establish stricter buffer zones, setback requirements, and lower exposure limits"},{"id":"research","evidence":"Prioritize independent, transparent studies"}],"summary":"Reports a father’s heart attack and personal chronic headaches following tower installations near the household.
