I have had a pacemaker since June of 2020. I was told by cardiologist at the hospital to not have a cell phone on the side of my body with the pacemaker as it will affect my pacemaker.\nAfter my internet carrier changed to fiber optics, I found out from the company that makes my pacemaker monitor that 5G will destroy it. If that happened, I wouldn’t know if my pacemaker was working correctly and I would die. Because of this I had to get rid of my home phone and only use my cell phone. Presently, my cell phone carrier still has 4G. When it goes to 5G, I won’t be able to have a cell phone.\nI am extremely affected by my internet on my computer and the smart meter at my home. I become very agitated and filled with anxiety when on my computer. Since they installed the smart meter at my home a few years ago, my health began deteriorating.\nI am a copyeditor for authors, so staying off the computer would not allow me to continue my occupation. I need the money to even pay my lot rent as well as my other bills.\nPlease lower the current 5G to 4G or less for the benefit of my physical and mental health and that of everyone else exposed to these frequencies.\nI researched SAR absorption rates before purchasing my last cell phone.\nI believe most people are aware of the danger of these frequencies, however they have no ability to affect a change. Their speaking up about this to their politicians has not made any difference.\n10. I don't know.\n11. Should exposure assessment or risk evaluation differ for sensitive populations such as those noted below? No, I believe that each of the following populations should be protected as they are all vulnerable to adverse health effects or even death because of these frequencies. \n12, 13, 14. I don't know.\n15 All of these things should be taken into account for the safety of everyone.\n16 I don't know.\n17 This is something Mr. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. needs to investigate. He needs to be the one to write the guideless on the roles for all the federal health agencies listed.\n18 The average person reading this will be overwhelmed and not respond. It would take an entire law firm working in concert to get this information within six months to one year. \n","attachments":[],"attachment_inventory":true,"withheld":false,"source":"https://www.regulations.gov/comment/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-2966","tags":["health-experiences","exposure-places","research-evidence"],"source_hash":"65509e5266c868354c77376bb3c20c7ff1929f1ea22bd0adc14c54ad31a388be","slug":"health-experiences-comment-2966","classification":{"id":"HHS-OASH-2026-0397-2966","body_sha256":"e612ae1fd29b47e133d478b89002884960869b4d3107a0a2a756d644305e5b9b","status":"ai_reviewed","primary_topic":"cardiac","topics":[{"id":"cardiac","evidence":"am an individual consumer.
