Since then, the FCC has done nothing! The last time there were health standards for wireless radiation was in the early 1990s – before many people even owned cell phones. The FCC would do well to look at Europe’s strong heath standards. \n\nMeanwhile there are hundreds of studies that point to terrible health effects for all species on Planet Earth: humans and every other species on this planet. Electromagnetic radiation has proven to be toxic to insects, for example, and a major contributor to the extreme drop off in insect populations around the world. \n\nThere’s no longer an escape from wireless radiation – it’s everywhere on this planet. It’s long past time that we took action to protect humans and every other species. \n","attachments":[],"attachment_inventory":true,"withheld":false,"source":"https://www.regulations.gov/comment/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-0487","tags":["exposure-places","policy-standards","research-evidence"],"source_hash":"57a29d7260c6b4aab391a03e6f5a127da52d608ca50476e8f69bf7dc16bf16f4","slug":"exposure-places-comment-0487","classification":{"id":"HHS-OASH-2026-0397-0487","body_sha256":"b64e5cfe05b427d5f568b920015d75534e85dd55bf89450e768c7711266677c4","status":"ai_reviewed","primary_topic":"standards","topics":[{"id":"standards","evidence":"I call for strong public health protections"},{"id":"research","evidence":"the FCC must address the scientific evidence"},{"id":"environment","evidence":"toxic to insects"}],"summary":"Calls for stronger public-health protections and action on the 2021 FCC remand.
