Each one is relevant to the ongoing campaign by many doctors and scientists worldwide to restrict mobile phone base stations (cell towers) to locations at least 300 meters away from residential homes.\n\nCurrently, in most countries, telecommunications providers are allowed to site base stations almost wherever they want. Yet much scientific evidence now supports the idea that a relatively low-height \"small cell\" base station (such as those on lamp posts) should be no closer than 300 meters to a residence. The same body of evidence suggests that a large \"macro cell\" facility typically should be half a mile or more from any home.\n\nUpload #1: Akkam 2020 MWR blood ROS.pdf\nUpload #2: Cell carrier frequencies.pdf\nUpload #3: Hardell 2022 EHS nr base stns.pdf\nUpload #4: McCredden 2026 EMF sensitivity survey.pdf\nUpload #5: Nilsson 2023 5G cases two men.pdf\nUpload #6: Nilsson 2023 MPBS 5G caused EMR-S.pdf\nUpload #7: Nilsson 2025 RFR memory probs children.pdf\n\n","attachments":["https://downloads.regulations.gov/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-5682/attachment_6.pdf","https://downloads.regulations.gov/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-5682/attachment_3.pdf","https://downloads.regulations.gov/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-5682/attachment_5.pdf","https://downloads.regulations.gov/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-5682/attachment_7.pdf","https://downloads.regulations.gov/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-5682/attachment_2.pdf","https://downloads.regulations.gov/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-5682/attachment_4.pdf","https://downloads.regulations.gov/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-5682/attachment_1.pdf"],"attachment_inventory":true,"withheld":false,"source":"https://www.regulations.gov/comment/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-5682","tags":["child-development","health-experiences","sleep-cognition","exposure-places","research-evidence"],"source_hash":"90465a1c18cf765bc314b1a501649532f44a7e1faf9b62b3729353d914fda8ce","slug":"child-development-comment-5682","classification":{"id":"HHS-OASH-2026-0397-5682","body_sha256":"d154845aab605ad98203037b733af31d49469a153703b467f1c411d8392537e0","status":"ai_reviewed","primary_topic":"infrastructure","topics":[{"id":"infrastructure","evidence":"a relatively low-height \"small cell\" base station (such as those on lamp posts) should be no closer than 300 meters to a residence."},{"id":"standards","evidence":"a large \"macro cell\" facility typically should be half a mile or more from any home."}],"summary":"Advocates residential setbacks of at least 300 meters for smaller base stations and typically half a mile or more for larger facilities.
