For 5 years, between 2007 and 2012, i was in close proximity to a modem/router, working remotely for my employer. At approximately the 4-1/2 year point, I had a lot a symptoms, including fatigue, temporary paralysis (not being able to move or speak), full body jerks, hissing sound in my head (not tinnitus), etc. After many conventional medical tests were done, they found nothing physically wrong and suggested counseling therapy. Although the counseling helped, it wasn't everything. I learned that it is not healthy to be close to a modem/router because of electro-magnetic frequencies, etc. I wish I would have known 5 years earlier! Anyway, I had to give up my good-paying job, which led to having to sell our house, which led to renting, and eventually moving closer to family in another state for support. Reducing exposure to EMF's has helped me to avoid having so many debilitating symptoms. All people need to avoid wireless radiation, and I believe HHS should address this issue for the health & safety of every person in this country.\n\nI support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.\n\nI urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.\n\nThank you for providing individual persons and families with an opportunity to be heard!","attachments":[],"attachment_inventory":true,"withheld":false,"source":"https://www.regulations.gov/comment/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-4613","tags":["child-development","health-experiences","research-evidence"],"source_hash":"8f74647aef9ad06b2b5a0f424cb2bacb8497e6929605b67d46ef64b378fff52f","slug":"child-development-comment-4613","classification":{"id":"HHS-OASH-2026-0397-4613","body_sha256":"465b683c96590fdad19c4626b3d2e6c3a98b52f995555d8611423bcdd6823144","status":"ai_reviewed","primary_topic":"wifi","topics":[{"id":"wifi","evidence":"2007 and 2012, i was in close proximity to a modem/router, working remotely for my employer.
