We recommend that HHS treat male fertility as a priority research gap (Questions 16 and 18), include menstrual cycle and ovulation endpoints in long-term cohort studies (Question 10(d)), and recognize couples seeking pregnancy as a distinct population with exposure measured in both partners (Question 11(g)).
