The public comment period runs September 21, 2026 to October 21, 2026.\n\n \n\nThis is a critically important opportunity for members of the public, researchers, clinicians, public health professionals, equipment or product manufacturers, organizations, educators and advocacy groups to make their voices heard directly by Secretary Kennedy and the federal agency responsible for protecting the nation’s health.\n\n \n\nFor too long, questions about the health and environmental effects of RF radiation have largely been addressed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), an agency responsible for regulating communications technology and spectrum, rather than through HHS, the federal health agencies with expertise in medicine, biology and public health.\n\n \n\nHHS wants to hear from you!\n\n \n\nShare your concerns about RF radiation exposure, including from cell towers near schools, playgrounds, and near your home and workplaces.\n\n \n\nIf you, your child or family member have been negatively affected by RF radiation, we urge you to share your experience. Tell HHS what happened, how such exposure has affected your health or daily life, and why you believe federal health officials need to urgently address this issue.\n\n \n\nYou do not need to have personally experienced health effects from RF radiation to make your voice heard. Family members, health professionals, scientists, advocates and allies can all submit comments urging HHS to address the growing concerns surrounding the public’s ever-increasing exposures to RF radiation, thoroughly examine the evidence, and listen to people who report experiencing RF radiation-related health effects.\n\n \n\nPlease find a sample response, below, to make it easy to submit a comment to HHS, but please personalize it with your own story, professional experience, concerns or message of support.\n\n \n\nThis is our opportunity to make our voices heard and to send HHS a clear message: people across the country are demanding that our nation’s health agencies act now to address RF radiation health and environmental concerns.\n\n \n\nSubmit your comment before October 21, 2026 and tell HHS why this issue matters to you!\n\n \n\nHow to submit a comment:\n\n \n\n Go to the Write a Comment page.\n Suggest reading the recommendation there for how to make your comment most effective.\n Enter your personalized comment about how wireless radiation exposure has impacted you and your family, your patients or communities. You can copy the suggested text below and then personalize it. Note: If your comment is over 5000 characters, you can also upload additional comments.\n Under the section Tell us about yourself! I am responding from the perspective of myself. When I lived in town, near over 100 towers, I was exposed to many cell towers and experienced disrupted sleep and brain fog. After I moved to the valley where there are 8 cell towers, these health issues went away. \n\nI support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.\n\nI urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.","attachments":[],"attachment_inventory":true,"withheld":false,"source":"https://www.regulations.gov/comment/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-0953","tags":["child-development","sleep-cognition","exposure-places","policy-standards","research-evidence"],"source_hash":"7b3d7008eb1a63c368be056c68dabf1df0b57c4dedd22ab50552f1f08326f13b","slug":"child-development-comment-0953","classification":{"id":"HHS-OASH-2026-0397-0953","body_sha256":"b3902ba5563bb5901de6e9cee88d94bb1d60cb4c1fed10d966693abea4440cec","status":"ai_reviewed","primary_topic":"research","topics":[{"id":"research","evidence":"ticular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health."},{"id":"children","evidence":"tific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public heal"},{"id":"infrastructure","evidence":"r from you!\n\n \n\nShare your concerns about RF radiation exposure, including from cell towers near schools, playgrounds, and near your home and workplaces.\n\n \n\nIf you, your child or family memb"},{"id":"neurological","evidence":"n town, near over 100 towers, I was exposed to many cell towers and experienced disrupted sleep and brain fog.
