When Barbara has the cellphone next to my ear it does not feel the same as a regular phone. She feels dizzy and hot and I get headaches. Barbara's friend who has M.S. also complains of similar symptoms.\n\nWe support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.\n\nWe urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.\n\nThank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.","attachments":[],"attachment_inventory":true,"withheld":false,"source":"https://www.regulations.gov/comment/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-0352","tags":["child-development","health-experiences","research-evidence"],"source_hash":"ab3c831c2e5d3c156ff8a1c6e731e22cb4b3587d4520bfcb4e4d6d6d2d3cc662","slug":"child-development-comment-0352","classification":{"id":"HHS-OASH-2026-0397-0352","body_sha256":"caa939eaaa5aab8751759961ac991e14f1a022ce686d5b5c0d60b5cd5e76ecde","status":"ai_reviewed","primary_topic":"neurological","topics":[{"id":"neurological","evidence":"She feels dizzy and hot and I get headaches."},{"id":"research","evidence":"We are submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure."},{"id":"children","evidence":"We urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health."}],"summary":"The commenters report dizziness, heat and headaches during phone use and request medical investigation attentive to vulnerable groups.","reviewed_at":"2026-09-22T14:53:58Z","review_method":"AI-assisted full comment-body review with exact source passages; September 22 CSV update","review_source_sha256":"bbed54a6e4079ececf0610d54ec74c0dc05831529595146c97de2890358cbda6","source_url":"https://rfsafe.net/hhs-comments/data/catalog.json","scope":"Original comment body; attachments excluded"},"forum_topics":["neurological","research","children"],"primary_topic":"neurological","forum_title":"The commenters report dizziness, heat and headaches during phone use and request medical investigation at…"}
