Our children often woke up sleep walking and sometimes having a nightmare. I often found myself having to go to the toilet once or twice a night, but at my young age of 39 I have no bladder challenges.\nThe exciting news was, once we turned our WiFi off, no more sleep disturbances and no more bathroom visits!\nWe also chose to turn our phones off before retiring and found that not staring at a bright screen before bed presented us with an improved sleep pattern.\n We personally believe HHS needs to address this issue and as you'll be aware the World Health Organisation regards 'dirty electricity' which includes cells phones and WiFi as a possible carcinogen and we you believe HHS should address this issue.\nhttps://www.bmj.com/content/342/bmj.d3483\nhttps://ehtrust.org/science/whoiarc-position-on-wireless-and-health/\nhttps://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/health/news/8548725/Mobile-phones-possibly-carcinogenic-say-World-Health-Organisation-experts.html\nI support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.\n\nI urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.\n\nThank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.\nYours in health, sincerely\nMagnus Mulliner","attachments":[],"attachment_inventory":true,"withheld":false,"source":"https://www.regulations.gov/comment/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-4149","tags":["cancer-tumors","child-development","sleep-cognition","exposure-places","research-evidence"],"source_hash":"d7fbafcc8e7aada70a40cd5be67360bb9bba7f37d52878742b6f57a757c32210","slug":"cancer-tumors-comment-4149","classification":{"id":"HHS-OASH-2026-0397-4149","body_sha256":"1da253835db2d17ac7345cdab403b7a114bad8ba216042fa5daa12f19103b3fd","status":"ai_reviewed","primary_topic":"wifi","topics":[{"id":"wifi","evidence":"o bladder challenges.\nThe exciting news was, once we turned our WiFi off, no more sleep disturbances and no more bathroom visits!\nWe also"},{"id":"neurological","evidence":"iting news was, once we turned our WiFi off, no more sleep disturbances and no more bathroom visits!\nWe also chose to turn our phones of"},{"id":"children","evidence":"diation and its effects on me and my family (two young boys aged 1 and 4 years young).\nThe source is our WiFi, which went le"},{"id":"cancer","evidence":"y' which includes cells phones and WiFi as a possible carcinogen and we you believe HHS should address this issue.\nhttps://www.bm"},{"id":"research","evidence":"ther potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.\n\nThank you for p"}],"summary":"A parent and healthcare professional reports improved family sleep after turning off Wi-Fi and phones, raises carcinogenicity concerns, and requests HHS research with attention to children.","reviewed_at":"2026-10-22T20:03:42Z","review_method":"Complete submitted comment-text review with neutral attributed summaries and exact evidence; attachments and external materials not reviewed.","review_source_sha256":"a9f2630a5c6a6a6fb53bb41931089960abef898277f7df6ba0ccb0ada3bfda32","source_url":"https://rfsafe.net/hhs-comments/data/catalog.json","scope":"Original comment body; attachments excluded"},"forum_topics":["wifi","neurological","children","cancer","research"],"primary_topic":"wifi","forum_title":"A parent and healthcare professional reports improved family sleep after turning off Wi-Fi and phones, ra…"}
