The 6 GHz links are point-to-point backhaul tying the site into the statewide network.

Context on what it carries: the Highway Patrol manages North Carolina's statewide VIPER Project 25 800 MHz trunked system — about 240 transmitter sites whose controllers are linked over microwave. I am a 69 year old Caucasian male, 154 lbs, 5'10", lifelong athlete, non-smoker. Two cancers: 1) Polycythemia Vera diagnosed October 2024, treated with Besremi/Ropeg-interferon at UNC Hematology, Garner NC; 2) Thymic Squamous Cell Carcinoma diagnosed June 2026 at Duke University Medical Center Cancer Center, Durham NC.
