Circuit Court of Appeals’ remand concerning its decades-old radiofrequency (RF) radiation exposure guidelines. The current guidelines do not adequately protect humans against harmful effects of RF radiation unrelated to cancer. The impact of RF radiation on both adults and children are serious matters and the FCC and critical federal health agencies, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, should rely on appropriate health and biological expertise when addressing the issues identified by the court. This issue matters to me personally because my husband developed a severe reaction to electromagnetic radio frequencies after contracting Lyme Disease. He experiences a very specific type of headache with exposure to wifi routers, cell towers, and all types of electrical devices. We have to shield our computers with nickel shields to reduce his exposure; and we do not have wifi in our house and we use ethernet only. There is an elementary school adjoinnig our property, and these children need protection. Cell towers are being placed on school property, church properties and at parks, all places where children are being harmed. I was a public school nurse in the 1980's and am well-aware of the types of diseases children faced in that era. They were few. Today, children are sicker than ever. They need protection from harmful influences, including radiation. I urge the FCC to give meaningful consideration to personal experiences and evidence and to fully address each of the issues identified by the court. Do not put off this important matter.","attachments":[],"attachment_names":[],"attachment_inventory":true,"withheld":false,"source":"https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/filing/26110078159","filing_type":"COMMENT","proceedings":"ET 13-84","capture_reviewed":true,"captured_at":"2026-09-29T01:43:11.606Z","supplied_classification":null,"tags":["health-experiences","cancer","children-schools","towers-antennas","wifi-devices","wired-alternatives","standards-testing","remand-accountability"],"source_hash":"29eee4801d7893b3ec56a310fe774769f67b779122523df4982a2531b047370c","slug":"health-experiences-filing-26110078159","classification":{"id":"26110078159","body_sha256":"73c0f7dda27948626b64d74b0bfdea9b0d8e1854e811c7e2189fa93ae8b13c61","status":"text_matched","primary_topic":"health-experiences","topics":[{"id":"health-experiences","evidence":"He experiences a very specific type of headache with exposure to wifi routers, cell towers, and all types of electrical devices."},{"id":"cancer","evidence":"The current guidelines do not adequately protect humans against harmful effects of RF radiation unrelated to cancer."},{"id":"children-schools","evidence":"The impact of RF radiation on both adults and children are serious matters and the FCC and critical federal health agencies, including the U.S."},{"id":"towers-antennas","evidence":"He experiences a very specific type of headache with exposure to wifi routers, cell towers, and all types of electrical devices."},{"id":"wifi-devices","evidence":"He experiences a very specific type of headache with exposure to wifi routers, cell towers, and all types of electrical devices."},{"id":"wired-alternatives","evidence":"We have to shield our computers with nickel shields to reduce his exposure; and we do not have wifi in our house and we use ethernet only."},{"id":"standards-testing","evidence":"Circuit Court of Appeals’ remand concerning its decades-old radiofrequency (RF) radiation exposure guidelines."},{"id":"remand-accountability","evidence":"Circuit Court of Appeals’ remand concerning its decades-old radiofrequency (RF) radiation exposure guidelines."}],"summary":"","method":"Local topic rules v1; exact supporting passages; not an AI or medical review","scope":"Captured filing text only.
